Of The Grateful Dead!!! Well, if your were there – then, there’s a pretty good chance that you might have seen one of these! Arguably ” The ” Lot Shirt from the’95 Summer Tour! If you’re actually keeping tabs, and handing out points for creativity – and stuff like that. How exactly can you beat this? !! Jerry Garcia as a Knight in Shining Armor – riding in proudly on a Skeleton Horse!!!!! Dang, as I distinctly remember how I felt – the 1st time I saw this one on Tour. And here I-was thinking that all the Super! Creative lot shirt ideas had already been used… Jerry as a Knight!!! Hey, I mean after all… He is the King of Rock & Roll – at least in my book. Plus, aren’t Mick Jagger & Paul McCartney already’ Knights’?? Just because Garcia didn’t live in England — no reason at all to not Knight Jerry! And, what really makes this Shirt even cooler… Is that it’s for 1995! – the Last/Final Dead Tour!! And, if you’re are one of those out there that really-knows your Vintage Dead Tees hopefully so! – then, you will also know that a similar-version of this Shirt circulated the 1994 Tour – but, if my mind serves me correctly… The colors on the’ front’ design were in Rainbow-Colors? ! And, it didn’t look quite as this’95 version – with the straight-up Black! In true Garcia style!! And, if you dig the front design on this Tee which, I’m sure you do… Then check-out the back! Of the 1995 Summer Tour dates are present on this one – both East Coast / Midwest & West Coast too! The Bright Colors & Design of this piece of Art are just Spectacular! — in the form of a Rose!!! Plus, I love the font – so classic… & so Early / Mid-’90’s too! As, these were indeed the days that most people still didn’t even have a Computer! Or, if they did… It didn’t work too cool – and, was anything-but user friendly! So, when I see a killer graphic like this… I just like to give props! Vintage Grateful Dead t-shirt, dates to the 1970s. Features the iconic blue rose graphic, one of the all-time great images associated with the Grateful Dead. It was designed by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, and made famous for their New Years Eve Dec 31, 1978 show held at Winterland in San Francisco. The opening acts included the Blues Brothers and New Riders of the Purple Sage. This isa classic seventies style and cut, with a shorter fit than modern t-shirts. Short sleeves, crew neck collar, straight cut through body. Light ivory color with a detailed graphic in blues. It is a comfortably worn in 100% cotton in excellent condition. No stains, armpits are in great condition, just a couple of small pinhead sized holes at front near hem as pictured. Machine washable in cold water, hand to dry already cleaned and ready to wear. It is pictured on a men’s size 39 chest mannequin for reference. S I Z E? Tag size – vintage US men’s large / 42-44. Fits like – modern US men’s medium 39 to a snug 42. Chest – measures 20″ flat and stretches to 21″ flat. Waist – measures 20″ flat and stretches to a tight 21″ flat. Sleeve – 6.5. Shoulder – measures 19″ seam to seam and stretches to 20″. As offered here is a Beautiful, Classic & Rare Grateful Dead 1995 Summer Tour T-Shirt from the Last & Final Tour of The Grateful Dead Summer Tour Ever. Yep, this was the very last one ever, and is indeed quite the Cool Looking/Designed Shirt – because if you look closely, you can see ” Grateful Dead ” written in a liquid / dew-like fashion inside the Steal Your Face! It’s probably also very important to note that this was ” The ” Steal-Your-Face! Design shirt for this Tour… And it was clearly one of the finest’new’ choices available on this last tour. And on the backside, you can see’95 written in similar font right below the rose. I do believe this might have been one of the later, if not last masterpieces of artist Wayne Damage – who was responsible for the creation of so many amazing Grateful Dead T-Shirt designs throughout the Early/Mid-90’s. I caught the Seattle & Portland Shows, and word on the street Deadhead Street, that is – naturally… Is that the 5/26 Seattle Rex Show might just have been the Bands very last ” Huge ” performance. They dug real deep that day, no question.. So as it goes without saying, this is indeed a very special Shirt not only in Grateful Dead History, but in the History of Rock n’ Roll, and America too… The Best Live Band the World will likely Ever! See – our beloved Grateful Dead!! For the Deadhead who likes colorful Dancing Bears on their Dead Tees! As this-one is Killer!!! And as the photos well show – for really good reason! This one is all about Grateful Dead Rock’n Roll here Fans… Or, just like Kenny Powers once said – Black! Helps you express your Rage! On the fret board – that you could darn-near him playing heavy metal! ? ! – being right-in the guitar zone, and masterfully channeling the stratospheric forces, that almost only Garcia could. So go and listen to say… The Barcelona Show that closed this Tour — there you go – now do you see what I mean? Train down the track… And too, as for the’design’ on this Shirt — proper-props directly to The Mouse! — with a Skull & Roses Sand & Bones design made specifically the Band’s 1981 European Tour!!! No-doubt about it, as this here my fellow Dead Fans – is indeed one of the Greatest! / Mouse designs in Rock & Roll History… So subtle, pastel, stylish, cool, and yet so-incredibly Heavy!
