There’s no date on this. I don’t know if it’s some kind of bootleg but I think it’s pretty old since it is single stitch. It’s a Fruit of the Loom large. Some yellowing on the armpits and collar but not much. A little yellowing all around but not much. One small rip on the left undersleeve see pictures. This Field Jacket has been customized with pins and patches from it’s original military grade olive green to what you see before you here. We’ve got the Grateful Dead dancing bear angel on one shoulder, devil on the other with the Gadsden Flag [DON’T TREAD ON ME] on the chest. There are a few sly GSA patches on the lower inside right cuff and there’s also a jumbo safety pin with a beautiful glass mushroom up under the collar. You’ll also find a black metal sparrow tucked away on the right front pocket flap. The jacket also comes with a vintage London, UK tailor’s coat-hanger [heavy wood with the tailor’s name/address on it in the antique style]. The jacket also comes with a vintage Simpsons t-shirt spoofing on the Beatles [as seen in pics]. The jacket also comes with the bandana in the front pocket. This is a really nice multi-colored old-school bandana. There’s nothing on the back – you can add your own customization there. Long story short – I bought this jacket for myself at a vintage store but it didn’t fit. I’m an XL and it’s just a bit too snug. There’s no size/brand in the jacket either so there’s no physical markings on the item. And downsizing so I can go on the road full time and do comedy out of a Winnebago [so if you’ve got a vintage Chief kicking around I’ll trade you]. This jacket is a great gift for the Deadhead in your life and will fit a Men’s L and the t-shirt, hanger and bandana are nice little added bonus. Thank you for you consideration.
