Grateful Dead Vintage Local Crew Ringer Shirt White/Black. These shirts were gifted to local crew employees at each venue at the end of the night as a thank you from the band. These are from the mid 80’s. It has both the “Good Ol Grateful Dead” print as well as. The phrase “Last In, First Out” is a humorous play on the traditional roadie saying First in, Last Out. It refers to the crew member who helped set up before and break down the concerts, often working long hours. The phrase appears on some tour shirts, particularly those associated with the Dead (GDP). The joke is that the last people to arrive at the venue (the crew) are also the last to leave after the show. All shirts listed shirts are Original Vintage GDP Merchandise. Never Worn or Washed. Check stitching and tags. Check the tags and stitching of others online, there is a different between the originals and reprints. I toured a few years and was able to acquire shirts directly from GDP. I would ask for 1 of each, each tour in XL. Most wound up in a Rubbermaid tub in my apartment. I preferred to wear lot shirts, which are I outgrew and will probably be listed also at some time. I really would love to get these shirts to people who would really enjoy them. If you have some input or suggestions feel free to contact me. All reasonable offers and cool stories will be considered. I would prefer this being loved rather than in storage. Check my store for package deals. Live the life you love. AI—This vintage Grateful Dead ringer shirt is a rare find for fans of the iconic band. Vtg 80’s Grateful Dead L T-shirt FOTL Nature Conspiracy Government Mind Control. There was a theory that the government was using things such as the Greatful dead music as mind controlling project for different environmental projects and to push agendas in the 1980’s. Very cool sign of the times piece. Still with the wonderful tie-dye Grateful Dead colors featuring members of the band, including Jerry Garcia on the front of the shirt. Definitely a one of a kind item.
