As what was I even doing back in’96? ! – heck, as the first thing that comes to my-mind was seeing the Furthur Festival Show in Veneta, Oregon! With Good Ol’ Ken Kesey on-stage’ Singing’ Lovelight! – and, quite surely I’m missing someone-else here – so… As this-one is just That-Rare! I mean – like… Seeing as how I’m rambling here about old but Grate! But, with all ” Rareness ” aside – let’s just start talking about Awesomeness!!! Because as far a 1996 Grateful Dead Shirts, GDM Shirts, Lot Shirts, etc. Is just one of the’ Most-Awesome! Based solely on the Art Design! This-one pretty much gets one of those two-thumbs-up Are You Kidding-Me? As it a really’ Boney’ Grateful Dead! Scene’ here – with ” Grateful Dead ” designed with an Incredibly-Rare! And, as for the ” Skull ” from this Dead-Skeleton… It’s got a G. ” for a ” Crack on its Head! And, as for the Incredible Sunglasses! ” – we are talking Ponch & John ” Chips! Style right-here – or, maybe even the Village People too! ? Or, maybe just Chips! These are Ray Ban Wire Rimmed’ Mirrored’ Beauties! – even with Silver! One of the Rarest! Issued right at the beginning of the Post G. / J. G. B. Arguably one of the Rarest! ” Garcia Shirts ” created & issued for Jerry-Fans in that initial ” Post ” 1995 Grateful Dead & Jerry Garcia Band Touring Era – after Garcia’s way untimely passing in August of’95. Looking back though, now here what like… Close to 30-Years later? — my goodness were there some beyond memorable & simply amazing designs issued during this initial period, in the 2nd half of 1995 – and too, of course beyond that time as well. But, here is indeed how I personally see it on this Shirt… As this is one of those so-awesome Smile! Shirts – if, you know what I mean. Like basically, Garcia is cracking a bit of a slight ” Smile ” type pose himself here on this painting-like image… But, the real-reason it’s a ” Smile ” Shirt – is because… What anyone will do immediately – when they see you Rockin’ This-One! They’re gonna ” Smile “! And, Smile, Smile, Smile! In fact – because I mean… Just seriously take a Look! As it’s purely like a Real-Deadhead ” Detector ” – because if you’re not ” Smiling ” right-away when you see someone wearing this one, then you are not in the know obviously… And are clearly not a Dead Fan. Yep – as this would be an example of’ failing’ the Deadhead ” Detector ” test. On the Flip-Side – if you Smile! Grinning ear-to-ear when you see this, and feel inclined to deliver a High-5! ” directly to the wearer of this Shirt, or too – if you feel immediately inclined to deliver the ” Nice Shirt!!! Comment that, we all-love to hear… Then yep – you passed, are ” in ” the know… And are indeed a Deadhead!!!
