This unusual piece of original Deadhead ephemera advertises a limited-edition “Meadowlands Dead – September 2, 1978″ T-shirt featuring the classic Grateful Dead skull/lightning-bolt motif incorporated into a Meadowlands-themed design. The September 2, 1978 date corresponds to the Grateful Dead’s concert at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with Willie Nelson and New Riders of the Purple Sage also on the bill.
