From the’ Last & Final’ Tour by the Band! : X Large (XL) : Very-Rare!! As I think it’s way-safe to say that your very-best chance to see a Winged & Flying Frog on a Rock & Roll Tour Shirt… Was seeing the Good Ol’ Grateful Dead on their 1995 Summer Tour!!!!! As, I’m not sure that there are too many of’ these’ designs out there. I mean what a serious-serious Classic!!! This Shirt is simply Amazing! In its design – on both! The front & the back sides. And, this really is no secret – here now over 30-Years! As this one was The!!! 1995 Tour Dead-Shirt to have! You had to get one of these fast in’95… And ultimately this one also ended up being from the ” Last & Final ” Grateful Dead Shows – Ever!!! The Last & Final Tour of the Grateful Dead — Summer Tour’95!!! Well, everyone has their own opinions indeed – but, here for sure is mine… As far as the available 1995 ” Dead Shirts ” went – I always thought that it was either the’95 ” Locomotive Train ” Shirt… Right-here – as far as the Best of the Best! And, both of these obviously – were only available on’ White’ Shirts. For certain the Train does Rock! Indeed – as in my opinion, there just weren’t enough ” Train ” Shirts made over time &’ Space’ for the Dead. Head to head – wow… I don’t know my fellow Fans, as the overall Color & Massive-Creativity! Of this one, really-really makes this one tough to top. To each his/her own, or so I suppose… But, it is always a fun discussion! But, as mentioned – I suppose Ultra’ Unique’ is the term of choice here… As you just can’t find a colorful Winged & Flying Frog! Other Rock & Roll Tour Shirts!!! & just so Awesome!! – and, while we’re at it too… What should this-one go by name, anyways? I don’t know about you… But I kinda dig ” Grateful Toad “!!!!! Regardless, as the photos very nicely show – this is one of the most Unique! Grateful Dead Shirts of all-time… And, just to think that it even came right from the 1995 Summer Tour – which, Ultimate was indeed The-Last! The question I pose is quite simple — are You! Worthy to Rock this Beauty! Of a’95 Garcia Face Dye! – just the way that it’ Needs! We all know that it takes just the’ right’ fan to wear this one Loud! Because it doesn’t get much Brighter or Bolder – in showing just where you stand! And always liked to stand best — right on the Jerry-Side!!! Hey – me too… I’m on that side, as heck we probably already know each other & have never even met! ? Just like I said to Bill Walton one day… I haven’t seen You! Since Shoreline’93 And… In fact, do you know where I saw Bill right under the Shoreline Pavilion? – that’s right… Right on the Jerry-Side!! Good minds think alike I say — just Dead Ahead! Not much to say on this’ Grate! Tie Dye Shirt, because the Shirt itself says it all!!! To my ears, this guy was – and will always be… The’ King of Rock’n Roll’ and Nobody! Vintage-Original Grateful Dead Shirt made Show-specific! For the 1984-85 New Year’s Eve!! Run of Shows at the S. My Grateful Dead Shirt!!! ? !!! Now fellow fans out there, is this a serious! Should we just call it ” Shakedown Street “! ? !! Because all of those who are in the’ know’ – know exactly what went down during that Epic! ” Shakedown ” Show Opener on this Amazing New Year’s Eve Night… I love & live-for my’84-’85 G. And how incredibly special is this Shirt? Wedged right smack-dab in between!!! Three-Cheers for that Boss HM-2, right? But as we all well know – any piece of equipment can only take so much credit… So let’s give 90% of that credit to Jerry! This Era is pretty much a non-stop clinic on how to play a Guitar the right way – at least to my humble Dead Fans ears. Complete command, with insane-agility, passion & power. So much excitement is delivered in this era, and so many chances are taken… Just like Garcia once said himself – Louder is Better… It’s the’ Brent-Era’, and there is nothing quite-like-it. And the little-rough-around-the-edges is very welcomed – hey, it’s ok. When I’m at a Show, I’d rather see a Band lay it all out, than go through the motions in a security-blanket. This era takes some heat for the’ slop’, no doubt – and rightfully so, or so I suppose. But listen to the’ Right-Night’ when it’s an All Cylinders Go! – and it is On!!! So yes, this is my cry-out for more pro-releases from that Stellar’81 to’86 period — and of course,’89-’90 too! But, Thankfully – we’ve been treated pretty kindly there, as of late. Let’s just release 12/31/84 pro! Hmmm, how’s about 6/30/85!! ? ! Ok, I’m getting off track, just a hair… But, the point being – this is the’ Official’ GDP Grateful Dead ” 1984-85 New Years Eve ” Shirt we are talking about here – and to some it is just priceless.
