The Cumberland County Civic Center – in Portland, Maine! – the Hartford Civic Center – in Hartford, Connecticut! – the Providence Civic Center – in Providence, Rhode Island! – the Spectrum, in Philly, PA! – and the Hampton Coliseum, in Hampton, Virginia! So, if you were all present & accounted for – perfect on your East Coast G. And then you made the truck-out to Irvine, for the Irvine Meadows Ampitheatre Shows – in California! ? !! ? ! Deserve a ” Deadhead Gold Medal “, of some sort – no doubt at all. I mean you have just Got! To love the design on this one… You’ve got a’ Steal Your Face! Signifying the 2-night Irvine run – all by itself! And then you’ve got a map/scope! Narrowing in on the Northeast & Mid-Atlantic runs – listing each consecutive city on the Tour! Grateful Dead high-tech’80’s T-Shirt design, right? As this one is light-Years! Beyond your average & plain CBGB shirt, right?? ! But seriously, just take one look at the back of this near 30-Year Old treasure, and I think you’ll agree. Check out that mid-’80’s ” Grateful Dead ” font too? Looks very ” Greek Theatre ” style, well… At least to my eyes & mind! Heck, this Shirt looks like a tactical Tour-itinerary! Dang, and it never seemed quite this organized? Well, speaking for myself – that is… With my Tour Crew! Ahhh, the Good Ol” Daze’… But, as for the front of this Shirt.. The one & only ” GD ” Lightning-Bolt Heart Logo!!! A front & center symbol on the front of your G. Tee to show what you stand for… That’s right >>> Love! One of the Coolest Dead Shirts of all-time, at least to my eye – and Stellar! Condition too, might I add. Just check out the photos! Oh, and I almost forgot…. How about the Shirt-Color! This one only gets better & better. Kinda like this’86 Spring Tour too – believe it. Magic all over this Tour, and – this is the Pre-’87 Era too, if – you know what I mean, and where I’m coming from on that. Well, my personal moment of magic on this Tour – it’s an easy one. And hopefully, you too were there, or are at least in the know. The 2nd Night, of the 3-Night Spectrum run. Set I is nice, and you can just tell they are on it – and things might just get hot You know, one of ” Those ” nights… Alabama > Greatest opener – Dire Wolf > Rooster, Brown Eyed Women – Esau! – Ramble On Rose – El Paso… Nice & even among the Band, but – it does feel kinda light Bobby is hungry! Garcia calls for 1/2 Step Mississippi > Bobby drives in into Women Are Smarter! Garcia drops down a High Time, and then… Ace calls for the’ Bob Weir Show’, on a straight-up Power-house Sailor > Saint!!! This drives steadily into Drums… And then – ” It ” happened. Garcia finds the sweetest of sweet treble lines, after the calming of a ravaging Drums > Space! And it’s on >>> The Dew!!!!! And Fans, this Morning Dew is an explosion of Brilliance, Passion & Fire!!! And, I know it’s probably hard to believe, but this Dew was so unbelievably Hot! – that the Band? I kid you not. It was like a Walk-Off Home-Run! They must have just looked at each other, and realistically figured – well, who can top that? ! ?? Not even us, and we’re The Grateful Dead! Then, to’ continue’ to write Mid-’80’s Rock & Roll History on this Spectrum night, they come back for an Encore, and Ace just DESTROYS!!! Gonna Wait, Wait – Wait-Wait… Till’ The Midnight Hour!!!!!!! Some of the hottest-stuff-ever, by the Best-Band-Ever! Well Fans, so – here’s the Shirt! Enjoy this one, and wear it with a little-bit of that Mid-’80’s G. VTG Grateful Dead RARE Oakland Auditorium Fillmore East 1980 Original Tour Shirt. This is an EXTREMELY Rare ORIGINAL Fillmore. East/Winterland tour shirt from concert in Oakland. The print run was insanely low and you never see these! Size tag says Medium. Armpit to armpit is roughly 16″ and roughly 23″ from top shoulder to bottom. Showing signs of wear with some distress. Grateful Dead Shirt : Vintage Original : 1994 : Summer Tour’94! Smoking Top Hat Skeleton!! It’s Worth The Trip -’94!!! : Lot Shirt : XX Large (XXL) : Very-Rare!!! Uncle Sam Skeleton Grinnin’! On this one – in full-on Deadhead Tuxedo regalia!! & with a Rose!!! Fall in all Dead Tour! Veterans, because here it is! ” The ” – ” It’s Worth The Trip ” Smokin’ Uncle Sam Shirt!!! So, if you were on tour in the Late-80’s & Early-90’s, you might be well aware that this Legendary ” lot shirt ” hit the scene for the 1st time during the 1987 Spring / Summer Tours – but then it seemed to magically disappear. Still seen on the backs of proud Deadheads, naturally… But strangely not available for sale? ! ? Well, you know – it happens. However, once’94 rolled around – Yes! This one made the long-awaited ” return ” to the parking lots – due to’ popular demand’, or at least I would think so. To my knowledge, this was not only the official return, but it was also the’ debut’ of the ” Summer 1994 ” version created – to a whole new generation of Dead Fans. Well – Old & New, of course. This one hit the scene for the’94 Summer Tour, and then again I believe only one-more-time – which was the’94 Fall version (with ” Santa-Jerry ” on the back) for the’94 Winter Tour… Which was West Coast only. Point being – this is now Your chance for a true piece of Dead Fan T-Shirt Art Lot Style! You just don’t seen too many of these around over the last two (2) decades, and this one is in fantastic shape, with consideration of its age. In my personal opinion – and for what that’s worth… You really can’t beat the ” Smokin’ Sam ” graphic on the front of this one, and on the back… Well, it speaks for itself – featuring All of the Tour Dates from the fabulous Grateful Dead 1994 Summer Tour!!!!! Just a classic, and a tongue-in-cheek one too – as Good Ol’ Uncle Sam’s Expression & Eyes! Pretty much tell the whole story!! Tag Size / Brand : Double Extra Large (XX-Large / XXL) / T-USA (100% Pre Shrunk Cotton) Pit-to-Pit = 25″ Length = 28″ As this is a used, yet well taken care of shirt – here are the issues that stand out to my eye upon very close inspection : >>> fading/cracking of the design image emblems on both shirt sides (please see photos/close-up photos). >>> some lighter discoloration on the shirt front, and some faint yellow marks on the shirt material fabric (please see photos/close-up photos). Yes indeed, as here it is… The Legendary & Classic 1990 ” Heads On Tour ” Lot Shirt made for the 1990 Summer Tour… Anniversary of the Good Ol’ Grateful Dead!!! And as you were probably there yourself – or, at least hopefully! – there is no need to restate the obvious here… But, this was arguably The Grateful Dead in their Prime! At least one of many. But, to me & my humble Dead Fan ears… And, with Brent so-sadly passing in a way untimely fashion after this Summer’90 Tour – you can clearly see the importance of this peak… Here now well-over 30-Years! Later, and reflecting back with Sheer-Joy! Just throw in your View From The Vault I Three Rivers Stadium Pittsburgh, PA DVD – and… Heck, Rock & Roll so-good or, should I say… That even View From The Vault III, and even II have the Band in action on Summer Tour 1990. I’ve seen a lot of Rock & Roll in my life, and still have to say… It’s the Absolute-Best! Stuff that I ever saw. And, if you were on the Road on the 1990 Summer Tour, or even slightly after – then You! Will most definitely recognize ” This ” Shirt – one of the very-best from those vital Shakedown Street strips, at ever venue, everywhere. Right on I say… And just-like that Good Ol’ Tour bumper sticker once so-proudly read… ” – ” Heads On Tour 1990 – 1990 Summer Tour… The ” 25th ” Anniversary of the Grate-est! Live Rock & Roll Band that this World has ever seen, and likely ever will. Tag Size / Brand : Extra Large (X-Large / XL) / Royco (50% Polyester – 50% Cotton / Made in USA). As this is a used vintage shirt – here are the issues that stand out to my eye upon very close inspection. >>> one (3) seam-separation hole approx. 1/2 above right shoulder. On the other side there is a hole which I took pictures to show you along collar bone in or towards back. Under the right arm there is a clear separation which is clean.
