And, you betcha – as we were All! Heck, as I even remember flying cross-county to see both of the Jones Beach Shows – when we caught word that the Boys were going to be playing both Acoustic & Electric Sets!!! And, how could any East Coast / Mid-Atlantic and/or Upstate run of Show be completed without… I mean hey, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center was long-forgotten by the Dead Fan Faithful, as the ” Last Chance ” to ever be invited there was in the Mid-’80’s… Hence, Bobby’s Legendary Don’t Hang Off The Balcony!!! ” on-stage comments to a Rabid & Over-Enthusiastic Dead Fan on the 1985 Summer Tour ” 20-Years So Far Grateful Dead run. But, here we were once again – and though there was nothing good about having Jerry gone, the one single thing that changed that was indeed a’ plus’ was that the Band could again play the smaller & much-much more intimate Venues, no longer being billed as ” The Grateful Dead “. And, for Die-Hard Dead Fans… A Trip back to SPAC!!! Was indeed a Huge-Bonus!! And, for the occasion of this June 20, 2003 SPAC Show by ” The Dead ” – Richard Biffle himself was involved in the creation of this ” SPAC ” Venue-Specific Tour Shirt… And here indeed it is!
