Vintage Grateful Dead t-shirt, dates to the 1970s. Features the iconic blue rose graphic, one of the all-time great images associated with the Grateful Dead. It was designed by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, and made famous for their New Years Eve Dec 31, 1978 show held at Winterland in San Francisco. The opening acts included the Blues Brothers and New Riders of the Purple Sage. This isa classic seventies style and cut, with a shorter fit than modern t-shirts. Short sleeves, crew neck collar, straight cut through body. Light ivory color with a detailed graphic in blues. It is a comfortably worn in 100% cotton in excellent condition. No stains, armpits are in great condition, just a couple of small pinhead sized holes at front near hem as pictured. Machine washable in cold water, hand to dry already cleaned and ready to wear.
