Item: Awesome vintage 1989 Bill Graham Presents The Grateful Dead at the Warfield, San Francisco. That’s 35 years ago. What a long, strange trip it’s been… Size: Tagged size medium by Hanes but it measures small by todays standards due to shrinkage. Made in the USA of 100% pre-shrunk cotton. Condition: This awesome shirt is in fair condition, but pretty good for 35 years… It has shrunk from it’s tagged size medium to a size small. It has a few spots on it, the main one being just above the rosecrown on #2, see the picture, and the shirt has several small holes, not big ones but those small ones, please see the pictures, you can see them pointed out. Measurements: Laid flat this shirt measures 18″ across the chest pit to pit, and 26″ in length from the top of the collar in back to the bottom hem. Please check the measurements carefully to be sure the shirt fits you. It measures a little short too. Summers coming and this would be perfect T-shirt for those hot summer days. I don’t remember what show I got this at, but it was sometime in the 90s. I have about 100 grateful Dead T-shirts this is the first one I’m putting online. All of them just as in all my T-shirts I picked up at the show. My earliest Grateful Dead shirt it’s from 1972. My first show was 69 or 70 I really can’t remember. I was lucky enough to have seen the dead some 350+ shows so you can imagine two little hard To keep up onWhich was what. Extremely Rare Concert T-Shirt Day on the Green The Who and The Grateful Dead

This is an extremely rare t-shirt for The Day on the Green 8 & 9 concerts on October 9 & 10, 1976 at the Oakland Stadium in Oakland, California. The concerts featured The Who and The Grateful Dead. On Saturday the 9th The Who opened and on Sunday the 10th The Grateful Dead opened. This was the last time the original Who lineup played the Bay area. The front of the shirt is screen printed with the image of a Native American chief with “The Who” printed on his headdress. The festival name is printed below. The back of the shirt features the iconic skull and roses logo for The Grateful Dead with the festival name again printed below. The color has faded to a mellow purple. It is definitely cotton, but I do not know if it’s 100% or a blend. As for the size, the shirt is pretty small which is why I have called it an XS. Please note the dimensions taken flat, one side only. Shoulder to shoulder: 13 inches. Underarm to underarm: 15 inches. Length: 23 1/2 inches. This shirt is in really nice condition considering its 40-year age. There is one tiny pinhole on the front see photo #9. There are some pale pinkish spots loss of color? Here and there, including one on a leaf of the Dead logo see photos #11. One of the spots is a brighter pink see photo #10. No rips or tears or major stains. The Grateful Dead logo has a little big of cracking. The Who logo has almost none. The screen printing actually still has some shine to it, which is remarkable.
