Made Tour-Specific & Dated! ” 1986 ” by Grateful Dead Productions… For the 1986 G. Those who like to Shake Their Shoes with U. Love their Good Ol”80’s!! – as this Vintage’86 G. Tee is just the one for You! Summertime, Come & Gone! Grateful Dead Touring Year, in the simply fact that it was the’ right’ bookend to that Amazing!!! 1979 to 1986 period of Grateful Dead Rock & Roll!!! The Fabulous Live-Dead Era which started with including Brent Mydland in the Band… And halted with a Jerry Garcia close-call after the 1986 Summer Tour. A close-call on Garcia’s health, that was so-close – that he even had to, as he explained ” re-learn ” how to completely play & command the Guitar? ! ? Thankfully for Garcia – his good friend Merl Saunders was a big help to Jerry during this strange-process, to say the least. And, from 1986 through 1995 the Grateful Dead Machine! Moved on, and on, and On! And, with Garcia & the Band even putting up a few of their Best-Years! All-Time, as a Band… I mean this Shirt is the way that a Dead Shirt from the 1980’s should look! Uncle Same Skeleton – from Grateful Dead Movie! Fame right on the front side, with Grateful Dead 1986 printed on the back in Red! Or, like the Deadheads used to say in the Lot! – back in the day, during this time… ” Trouble Ahead – Jerry’s In Red “!!! I should most-definitely note too — that this Shirt design on the front of this Shirt is printed to the Right-side (when wearing) of this Shirt (versus’ Centered’) – for a quality ” Fashion-Statement ” by GDP!!! So, just to make certain that you didn’t actually think that this design was’ accidentally’ off-centered. But, then again – you might have seen this one yourself, on the’86 Summer Tour! Hopefully you saw it on July 4th, 1986 at Buffalo! My personal’ Favorite-Show’ of this 1986 G. Pure Mid-’80’s G. In the Upper New York Rain-Shine!!! In other words, a little Cold Rain > Fire!!! To say the very-least. As, indeed after the R. Tour Closers, the next week… Jerry had to work hard! To get his Axe-Chops back – which, of course he did. Too, and then some. Pit-to-Pit = 20″ Length = 25″ As this is a taken care of vintage shirt – here are the issues that stand out to my eye upon very close inspection. >>> one (1) tiny/small hole (approximately 1mm) front left shoulder please see photos (close-up photo #10). >>> fading of the design image, on the backside of Shirt please see photos (close-up photo #9). >>> some assorted faint staining & discoloration on the Shirt material (please see photos). Please see all photos provided… Please Note : This 1986 Grateful Dead Productions, Inc. Shirt was Designed & Printed’ Purposely’ with Uncle Sam being towards the Right-side of the Shirt (when wearing). This was part of a Mid-’80’s Fashionable design statement! And, is not a mis-print – like could possibly be assumed, if you are not familiar with this’86 Vintage G.
