Shirt here, which definitely says-it-all was the Official Tour Shirt of the 2009 Tour by ” The Dead “. For Bobby – Billy – Phil – & Mick! And, I myself was also fortunate enough to catch this Tour at the Incredible Gorge Amphitheatre – in George, WA! Could arguably be considered the Coolest! Venue on this’09 Dead Tour. As I can’t recall off the top of my head if they had tour stops at either Red Rocks? – or, The Greek?? Likely Red Rocks – but, I’d have to go hunting to see. And, this here Steal Your Face! Dead Tour Shirt – in White! – was clearly The! Just a tried & true G. Bright & Sunny on that Whole! Day – with the Allman Bros. Band also Rocking this Show… And even the Doobie Brothers too – who were also… Warren Haynes played the Axe for both The Dead & The Allmans on this run – and though I much preferred him with the Allmans… I most definitely tip my cap for some serious Rock & Roll stamina! This Show was something-else, for certain – and who even knew that all of us die-hard Dead Fan Faithful would be so-kindly treated to the ” Furthur ” Era later on in 2009. I couldn’t get enough of that Band… I mean talk about re-creating & even actually at times building! On that one-of-a-kind G. Because as we all were once taught at one time or another in our lives… ” No-one can’t do it quite-like The Grateful Dead “!!! March 17, 18, 19, 1995 (3/17/1995 – 3/18/1995 – 3/19/1995) : 1995 Grateful Dead Merchandising, Inc. (GDM) : Tie Dye : Large (L) : Very-Rare!!!! 1995 Philly Spectrum Shirt – St. Spring Tour’95! Was played’ Live’ by The Grateful Dead!!!! — and Especially Philly Deadheads!!! Were you one of the luckiest people in the whole wide world on that Glorious March 19, 1995 day where Phil Lesh & Co. Decided to ” let it loose “? For the 1st time ever ” Live ” since it was written & studio recorded in 1974 – for the Mars Hotel! ? Blue Light Rain, UNBROKEN CHAIN!!! Holy Grateful Dead, and Holy Phil! Just doin’-it for the Philadelphia-Metro Area. Amazing, just truly-amazing – as who would have ever thought. It was pretty interesting reading in Phil’s Book’ Searching for the Sound’ how it all happened – because… What Dead Fan wouldn’t be interested in learning about That! So yeah, that has to rate as one of the Luckiest! Patty’s Days of all-time, no doubt. Hey, and that was only a portion of this hot run – but hey, let’s face it — more like Monumental!! But I have to say… The ” Visions of Johanna ” that Garcia kicked-down at the 3/18 Show – was, at least to my ear the prettiest, most well-played, and really the overall Best! Since long ago -’86 at the BCT, in Berkeley – to be exact. Jerry poured every-single bit of his heart into that one, and heck – Phil loved it so much too that he even made the call to include it on Disc 2 on his 1997 release – Fallout From The Phil Zone!!! I don’t know how else better to say it… This was one of the most important runs of Live G. Since the Brent Era! And naturally, they chose the Spectrum to just let it All! Good’Ol Grateful Dead in’95! And as far as this Beyond-Awesome! You bet, as this one is indeed the Real Deal!!! I’m not sure if you’ve seen the St. Patty’s Day Tour Shirt Tie-Dyes that the GDM made for the’91 Cap Centre Show (3/17/91)? Or the other Awesome one that they did for the’92 Philly Spectrum Show (3/17/92)?? They are all Grate! But, without any question… This one here is the rarest. Hey, who knows – but I have a feeling that Unbroken Chain!!! Might have something to do with it… A lot of Folks probably just walked out of this’95 Spectrum run – and just’ Framed’ theirs… I mean let’s be real – it’s truly just’ That-Worthy’. Tag Size / Brand : Large (L) / Not Fade Away 100% Cotton Pre-Shrunk / Made In U. Pit-to-Pit = 22″ Length = 28″. Large (L) : Very Rare!! Of’ Grateful Dead Movie’ Fame!! – just’ Chargin’ His Cartoon Chopper’! & Enjoyin’ The Ride!!!!! Just check it out! Gentleman, Start Your Engines!!!!! As here offered here is the Very-Rare! 2003 Issued version of the Grateful Dead 1988 Summer Tour GDM Classic! And, while the 1988 Grateful Dead Summer Tour Shirt was made only ” Venue-Specific ” for the July 29, 30 & 31, 1988 (7/29/88 – 7/30/88 – 7/31/88) run of G. Shows at the Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, CA — this very-rare’03 version was actually’ changed’ from the’88 original version… With the Tour Dates omitted! So, quite the opportunity for certain for any Dead Fans out there who just Loved! Movie / USA Uncle Sam Skeleton Shirt Design… But, that didn’t catch the Laguna Seca’88 Shows! Genuine / Authentic 2003 Issue by GDM, which really was a ” re-creation ” and alteration of the Laguna Seca’88 Original! I mean hey, let’s face it… Some Fans might love a Dead Shirt’ design’ – but, they don’t want to Rock a Shirt out in public promoting a Show that they didn’t actually go to see. You know – and, for a fine example : You! Are sitting at the bar, having a pint of beer… And a (very) pretty girl walks up to you like… A’ total’ California Girl through & through and she says… Hey Man, I went to that Dead Show at Laguna Seca… Were’ You’ there too? ! Your answer is ahhh… Something like ” the wrong ” answer of — Nope, but I’m just wearing the Shirt. A bummer so-easily avoided, right? My point being, this was such an Awesome! Dead Shirt design when it originally debuted in’88 – to the point that it Really! Should have been made also in a ” Non ” Venue-Specific version also. Maybe too just for the ” 1988 Summer Tour ” alone, or maybe too – just like this… ” Generic ” version – with All! Of the Killer designs in place, but just no Show Dates. And, I’m pretty much sure GDM was thinking just like me on this notion, because here in Finally! And, it only took 15-Years! To get it done… From 1988 to 2003! But, the important thing is that it did happen… Yes, time does fly… But, no need for you to worry anymore on getting this-one in your cherished Rock & Roll! As here it is… & here you go! Size ” Large ” is your size – which, we are both hoping so… Because this Shirt needs Rocked! Out in public, and at the next Show! That you go and see. You had better get ready for the Nice Shirt!!! Compliments, because believe me – they Will! Be coming in with this one. An’ early’ Fruit Of The Loom ” Lofteez ” Issue – that is in way-nice shape – ” Built To Last ” – and is just 100% completely ready to Rock! And of course Roll!! Grateful Dead’ Limited Edition’ items were released for both the ” Spring 1990 ” & ” Spring 1990 Too ” Box Set releases. And, at least to the Eyes of this lifelong Dead Fan – This! Was one of the most Amazing! And, like you probably already know — there was some serious competition for the Coolest-of-the-Cool! Collectibles for this Legendary Dead Tour! Catching the 3/14/90 Cap Centre Tour-Opener! Was one of the Grate-est! Daze of my Life, and that is for sure… With the ” Return ” of Good Ol’ Loose Lucy! – for the 1st time in like… Legendary Shows to say the least… And quite the immediate follow-up Tour to the 1989 Touring Year – which, at that time… Barely any of us thought could be Equaled! To Jerry & the Boys!!! And, on that topic… This-here is the ” Tiger Fire ” Design Image on this’ Spring 1990 Too’ Shirt – designed by Jessica Dessner… Who, may I add – did an Amazing!! Job with the Artwork Everywhere! On the Spring’90 Too Box Set! Grateful Dead ” Tiger ” Shirt – on a’ Black’ Shirt! I mean can you really beat this-one, when it comes to Cool!! ? Not to even mention – the ” Spring 1990 Too ” logo also on the left Sleeve! One of the Grateful Dead Classics! Of this modern G. Release era, and one too… Which will never lose it’s place as Cool! Any Deadhead who caught the G. Spring’90 Tour who sees you wearing This? ! Some even say this was pound-for-pound the last ” Great ” Dead Tour – but, I don’t know… There was that one-of-a-kind G. Magic all-over the 1991 to 1994 years. You just had to wait a little-bit longer for those patented Moments Of Magic! Whereas on Spring’90?? ! – heck, you just had to wait for the next Show – next Set – or even… Jerry being ” Jerry ” – and Everyone on Fire! Just like the Tiger! – I like it. So yes indeed my fellow Dead Fans… To the Good Ol’ Daze!!! Now well over 30-Years Ago! But, just like they say… When You’re Havin’ Fun! And yeah, you betcha… Grateful Dead Spring’90 Tour = FUN!!!!! Never Had Such A Good Time! This is a Brand New! Original Collectible-clothing item from 2014 in Excellent! Please Note : This is a Brand New Shirt, which came from the factory sealed in a plain piece of shrink wrap plastic. I opened this plastic, so I could inspect this item in entirety check! – and also for the purposes of providing a photo in this listing of the ” actual item ” you will receive. After this, this Shirt was slipped right back into the original plastic bag. I thought is was very important to inspect this item (unfolded), and make 100% certain it was perfect – fabric, seems, make certain the design application is straight, and so on. Always important to provide an actual-item photo whenever possible, in my opinion.
