I used to wear it, but have had it packed away for more than a decade. There is slight cracking on the silk screen images but nothing major. It has a design on both the front and the back of the shirt. There are 2 small flaws in this vintage T shirt. While wearing the shirt – small hole on the bottom left (Picture #10 and #11). On the front where the skeleton’s legs are crossed there is several pin size holes (Picture #9). Other than the flaws listed, this shirt is in great shape for being so old! Grateful Dead Vintage Shirt Rare 1982 Fall Tour 2 Sided, 1980’s, Baseball sleeves, black. This very rare shirt (in phenomenal condition) from Grateful Dead Productions features. A pair of skeletons dancing in a mountainous landscape below the words Grateful Dead, written in a flowing, ribbon script. Clouds above and clouds below. Red roses, floating musical notes – and the DNA double helix! The colors of the printing remain as vivid and fresh as they were back in 1982 because the shirt has been rolled up and stashed in a dresser drawer since it was given to me back in 1982. It wasn’t my size, so it has never been worn in all these years. As a result the fabric and the colors are in fantastic shape! Be aware that even though the label states that it’s a Medium, even back in the’80s it seemed to be on the small side for a Medium. Check out the photo that includes a couple of measurements and you’ll see that armpit to armpit measures 17″ and the length of the shirt is about 27″. I haven’t included a shoulder measurement because the raglan sleeve construction makes it harder to determine just where the max. Width of the shoulder should be. I’d be happy to give it a shot though, if that would help with anybody’s decision-making. By the way, the hem of these shirts were left unfinished, as can be seen in the photos. I have been a collector since the 1960’s. I have everything from Babe Ruth baseball cards to Grateful Dead Concert T Shirts, rare posters, toys and albums and even museum quality artwork. So make me a favorite and check back often! You never know what I will find in the basement or attic and now a new shed. It’s an Original Single Stitch Grateful Dead vintage shirt from 1987. It’s got Uncle Sam riding a Harley down the road feelin bad on one side and The Tour on a road on the back. The shirt had a tear on the side and back that needed a major repair but I think she did a great job so please check all the pics. Otherwise it’s in great condition. It’s a Grateful Dead Vintage Concert Shirt by Phil Brown from 1985. His shirts are similar to Mikio or Donohue shirts. There are some party holes and it’s been repaired so please check the picks. But it’s a survivor and otherwise it’s still in good shape. It’s a 2 sided tie dye with great graphics and colors. It measures approximately 18″ x27″.
