1990 was a great year for the Grateful Dead and this run of shows at Nassau Coliseum were outstanding. Branford Marsalis joined the band for the last 2 songs of the first set and the entire second set. A magical night, exceptional interplay with Branford’s amazing saxophone work. The Eyes of the World on 3-29-1990 is one for the ages. A great shirt bought on the grate Spring tour in 1990. As is true with almost all T-Shirts from the old days, an XL shirt from 1990 is more like a L in todays larger bodied world. This shirt is in amazing condition considering it’s over 33 years old. Very rare and unique. A collectors piece from one of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time. More photos available for interested buyers. This shirt and the others that will be listed here come from the collection of a deceased long term member of the Grateful Dead sound crew. The family wishes to keep his name anonymous.

Of The Grateful Dead!!! Well, if your were there – then, there’s a pretty good chance that you might have seen one of these! Arguably ” The ” Lot Shirt from the’95 Summer Tour! If you’re actually keeping tabs, and handing out points for creativity – and stuff like that. How exactly can you beat this? !! Jerry Garcia as a Knight in Shining Armor – riding in proudly on a Skeleton Horse!!!!! Dang, as I distinctly remember how I felt – the 1st time I saw this one on Tour. And here I-was thinking that all the Super! Creative lot shirt ideas had already been used… Jerry as a Knight!!! Hey, I mean after all… He is the King of Rock & Roll – at least in my book. Plus, aren’t Mick Jagger & Paul McCartney already’ Knights’?? Just because Garcia didn’t live in England — no reason at all to not Knight Jerry! And, what really makes this Shirt even cooler… Is that it’s for 1995! – the Last/Final Dead Tour!! And, if you’re are one of those out there that really-knows your Vintage Dead Tees hopefully so! – then, you will also know that a similar-version of this Shirt circulated the 1994 Tour – but, if my mind serves me correctly… The colors on the’ front’ design were in Rainbow-Colors? ! And, it didn’t look quite as this’95 version – with the straight-up Black! In true Garcia style!! And, if you dig the front design on this Tee which, I’m sure you do… Then check-out the back! Of the 1995 Summer Tour dates are present on this one – both East Coast / Midwest & West Coast too! The Bright Colors & Design of this piece of Art are just Spectacular! — in the form of a Rose!!! Plus, I love the font – so classic… & so Early / Mid-’90’s too! As, these were indeed the days that most people still didn’t even have a Computer! Or, if they did… It didn’t work too cool – and, was anything-but user friendly! So, when I see a killer graphic like this… I just like to give props! I’m not certain who exactly designed this one, but… I’ll give them a Gold Star! – or, maybe even better yet… ” The ” 1995 Grateful Dead Tour… Tag Size / Brand : Extra Large (X-Large / XL) / Hanes Beefy Tee 100% Cotton / Made in U. Shirt here, which definitely says-it-all was the Official Tour Shirt of the 2009 Tour by ” The Dead “. For Bobby – Billy – Phil – & Mick! And, I myself was also fortunate enough to catch this Tour at the Incredible Gorge Amphitheatre – in George, WA! Could arguably be considered the Coolest! Venue on this’09 Dead Tour. As I can’t recall off the top of my head if they had tour stops at either Red Rocks? – or, The Greek?? Likely Red Rocks – but, I’d have to go hunting to see. And, this here Steal Your Face! Dead Tour Shirt – in White! – was clearly The! Just a tried & true G. Bright & Sunny on that Whole! Day – with the Allman Bros. Band also Rocking this Show… And even the Doobie Brothers too – who were also… Warren Haynes played the Axe for both The Dead & The Allmans on this run – and though I much preferred him with the Allmans… I most definitely tip my cap for some serious Rock & Roll stamina! This Show was something-else, for certain – and who even knew that all of us die-hard Dead Fan Faithful would be so-kindly treated to the ” Furthur ” Era later on in 2009. I couldn’t get enough of that Band… I mean talk about re-creating & even actually at times building! On that one-of-a-kind G. Because as we all were once taught at one time or another in our lives… ” No-one can’t do it quite-like The Grateful Dead “!!!
