Offered for sale is a mint condition, new without tags, 1994 vintage Grateful Dead T-shirt. “High Country” has a winter sports (skeletons skiing / snowboarding) motif. Art is by the amazing Buzz Parker, who drew “Stained Glass Maiden” in the same year (also offered in our collection). Beautiful shirt for Shred Head in your life! We told him we didn’t know what or when, but that if we ever had any free time… Well, we found a few days recently and when we opened the boxes we were just blown away! Grateful Dead T Shirt Vintage Tour 1995 XL RFK 6/24,25/95 D. C. Dead Awesome

For your consideration is this true vintage Grateful Dead t-shirt. This shirt is a licensed GDM 1995 design, by David Opie, made by Liquid Blue. Very rare original vintage tour t-shirt. Shirt is in great preowned condition. There is slight fading and very little if any, cracking to the silkscreened graphics. Shirt smells fresh and is clean. It is a size XL and measures 23 inches across the chest and 32 inches in length. Shirt is both date and venue specific. From the RFK shows in Washington DC on June 24 and 25, summer 1995, the last Grateful Dead tour. Designs on both front and back. On front chest pocket area, it has a DC Dead shield with Uncle Sam “high steppin’ into town”, as he steps over the capital building! Checkout the very detailed all over print of GD dollars, which are front facing on the front of the shirt, and the opposite on back. Full of GD motifs like lightning bolts and flying eyeballs, with the words, “In GD We Trust”, and a presidential Owsley bear! And on the back, a much larger print of that presidential Owsley bear, with the RFK dates under him. There is one little spec of dark green, that i thought at first might be paint, but i think it is a drop of the dark green inks used for the all-over silkscreened GD dollars, on the very bottom, on the right front (photo 11). Very cool shirt, and true vintage from 1995. Perfect for upcoming summer concerts! Please look at all the photos of the actual item for sale. Tour Shirt made for the 1993 Grateful Dead Spring Tour stop in Chicago, Illinois (IL) at the Rosemont Horizon on March 9, 10, 11, 1993 (3/9/93 – 3/10/93 – 3/11/93)!!! This is a completely excellent shirt for someone who likes the plain, yet still bright & bold look! The amazing-design features an incredible “Lightning-Bolt” image, with the Chicago “Windy City” horizon in the Red & Blue background! This image is Mighty-Strong, and the photos hardly do it justice. (GDM) : X Large (XL) : Major League Baseball (MLB) NL / AL : Very-Rare’94 Tour Issued Vintage Original!!! 1994 Grateful Dead Merchandise Steal Your Base!!! – Spring Training Action! Right on the G. Who also love their Sports! Naturally — two (2) distinct ways of life! The Grateful Dead, and that smell of Fresh-Cut Grass – at the Ballpark… The Boys of Summer!!! This Shirt is just awesome. Credit to Shawn Kenney on this GDM, Inc. 1994 Spring Dead Tour Design! On the front, you’ve got Mr. Big Skeleton taking his biggest cut possible! … Or at least so it looks – I mean Umpphhfffff!! He’s got “GD” brand spikes, a couple of vintage-classic’70’s/’80’s Baseball socks on, and there’s a Steal Your face! In the Home Plate down below! And just check it out, as Mr. Catcher who is a Dancin’ Bear, naturally… Has got his hat on backwards – sporting the shin-guards, and the Glove! And inside the Glove….. Well, it looks like a well-thrown pitch, as Mr. Big Skeleton didn’t even get a piece of it – and it may have even gone through his back-bones! Is making this way-ease call…… Sunshine with glasses up above, looking on – during this obviously nice day. Oh, and I almost forgot… Check out the “Dead” on the Jersey! … Along with the Lightning-Bolt Emblem on the Sleeve! Dang, I need one of those jerseys… And as for the back?? Well hey, this scene just got more interesting – because it looks like the Team Skeleton got a man on Base! But, 1st base only it appears… As the Dancin’ Bears look like they are turning Two! It looks like the Skeleton is really trying to take him out? But wait, isn’t this meant to be a peaceful G. He’s missing a Finger? ! ? ! ? … Well, if there’s any doubt on this play – just take a look at the Terrapin Umpire! … As his thumb is straight up in the air! Now here’s hoping he doesn’t say it the same way Kenny Powers does!! This shirt is Rad! … And its got Sweet, Sweet Summertime – All, All All The Time just think Bobby Weir, Greek, Berkeley,’86! Written all over it! So as it goes without saying… This one’s Talkin To You! Wear it to the Ballpark! Well, without any questions – this here is indeed one of those! Everyone has their own opinions obviously, but at least to me? It was either this one here – or the “Bucking Bronco & Horse” Shirt for this’91 Summer Tour that led the G. Tour Shirts, that is – naturally! I’m not sure I can really pick between these two designs – as they are just so different in’Theme’? ! ? It is tough to top this design, All! Across the board – and all of that credit goes straight to David Opie! On this Amazing Skeleton Sun! Design – as Opie sure was on a G. Right around this Early-’90’s era. And, if you happened to partake in this fantastic G. Well, the Dead too were on a serious Hot-Streak!!! I myself caught a fairly-generous 7-Shows on this’91 Summer Tour… 1 at Buckeye, 2 in Charlotte, 1 at RFK, 2 at Giants, and 2 at Pine Knob – and let me tell You! – if you weren’t also there yourself… This Space Was Getting Hot!!! I mean this was a Solid! Tour, and then some – with arguably the RFK & Giants Shows probably being the best. And, my ears can’t be too-wrong over the RFK call-out here either – as you can actually see View! In the form of View From The Vault II!!! Yep, the Boys brought-it Nicely! At Good Ol’ RFK!!! Plus, those Giants Shows were really right up there too – and… For me, if I had to pick one of these Shows on a “Desert-Island” scenario, I would probably have to go with — 6/17/91 Giants! It’s always so! Incredibly tough to’pick’ – so hey, why even bother!! And, come to think of it too — Buckeye got so Hot! At points, that David Gans even used some of the segments on the “Dead Dead Hour” – just a few months after the fact. And, one of the Pine Knob nights was also released in the G. Download Series years later — the really Hot! Night where Ace “split-up” the Throwing Stones!!! That’s kind of how my eyes have always looked at this Opie’91 T-Shirt design for this Tour! … The Band was nice & consistent to say the least on this run, and they rose the bar at their own will… With of course, the crowd always! Being a major determining factor! That’s how I see these Sun Skeletons — one after another… Just pulling their load of the Sun(s)! – and Everybody doing their part until the Sun has traveled on through the Horizon! I know – I know, a bit “out there” indeed Ha! – but, this one is close to 25-Years old… So I’ve just had some serious time to think it through! And as for the Colors!!! With Bright & Bold – Both!! I mean this Shirt is so incredible Hot! That I can see someone that might not usually wear lots of Tie-Dye — just giving-in on this one! For your consideration is this true vintage Grateful Dead Ed Donahue 1993 December California tour t-shirt. Has a very cool Ed Donahue designed screenprinted GD front graphic, and the back screenprint graphic is both venue and date specific. Showing the December 1993 California tour dates and cities/venues, including Los Angeles Sports Arena 8,9,10. The San Diego Sports Arena on the 12th and 13th, and the Oakland Coliseum on the 17th, 18th, and 19th. This is a super rare vintage GD tour t-shirt. Shirt is in excellent preowned condition, for a 24 year old shirt! This shirt is a natural color like a very light tan, not a white shirt. There is slight fading and very little if any, cracking to the silkscreened graphics (see photos). There are two pin holes, one on the right front shoulder and one on the left front shoulder (photos 7 and 8). There is also a very light stain, that shows incredibly well with this camera, but when looking at it, it is not very noticeable, but it is there, on the front belly area (photo 5). Shirt smells fresh and is clean. It is a size XL and measures 24 inches across the chest and 31 inches in length. Super rare and very cool vintage GD tour tee!
