Pre-owned condition Vintage 1994 Grateful Dead Steal Your Face Tie Dye Golf T Shirt. Features a Dancing Bear Caddy and a Skeleton Golfer hitting a golf ball with the Steal Your Face logo toward a Steal Your Face green near the Capitol Bldg. How cool is this! Size is Large but please see measurements below. Armpit to armpit is approx. Collar seam on the back of shirt to bottom hem is approx. Shirt shows some wear including fading and image cracking. Grateful Dead Shirt : 1994 Summer Tour!!!’ Long Sleeve’ Tie Dye! Shirt :’94 Grateful Dead Merchandise GDM, Inc. : Size Large (L) : Tammy Schatz Art Design! One of the’ Main & Exclusive’ Official GDM Tour Shirts! & Father Crescent Moon!!! Offered is a very-special shirt, not only in that it was one of the few shirts designed to represent the’entire’ 1994 Grateful Dead Summer Tour! … But, it is also one of the rare “Long-sleeved” Shirt versions of this Mid-’90’s G. It is a beautiful & bold circular dye pattern, with some truly striking color combinations. It’s essence is straight to the point… Grateful Dead Summer Tour’94! With a Steal Your Face! Image on the front featuring a Lightning-Bolt division between the Sun! & the Crescent Moon!! And on the backside, there is a wise-old man Moon! Image that surrounds the’94! There were just a few “Incredible” shirt designs for this 1994 Tour, and this is indeed one of them. Plus, in a lot of ways – this shirt also represents the final grand finale – with’94 being the final/last’complete’ touring year for the band – Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall!!! Where has,’95 was only a touring-year that included Winter, Spring & Summer. And as for this’94 Summer Tour? At a number of the dates & runs. The California-Kickoff happened at our beloved Cal Expo, followed by a monumental “return” to Seattle! 3-Triumphant Nights at Eugene’s Mighty Autzen Stadium – Home of the Ducks! This West Coast leg wrapped-up with a fine 3-night “Pre-July 4th” stand – “Dead at the Dump” Style at Shoreline where a Music > Sugaree > Music indeed happened! Then, it was off back-east with a rare Vermont appearance at Highgate! And from there, the Nation’s Capital was treated to two (2) at good ole’ R. For the 1st time since’89 Summer Tour! After that, the band was fortunate enough to book a 3-night run at Deer Creek – quite possibly everyone’s east of the Mississippi’s favorite amphitheatre venue! Up north to the Windy-City for 2 at Mighty-Soldiers Field! … Followed by two rare appearances in Missouri, at the Riverport Ampitheatre!! Then, one last/final trip to’Buckeye Lake’ where the local convenience store signs always would read Welcome Deadheads – munchies galore! And then it was time for the bookends of Chicago, New York, Detroit, it’s all on the same street… , with 2 at the Palace! In Auburn Hills Motor City style! , followed up by 2 more at the old & Giant! Fortunately, the’overall’ tour vs. City/venue problems were still kept to an minimum well, overall… , and this Tour was viewed (looking back) as an indeed successful one! With 1995 obviously, not so much the case – as we all well know. Personally, I had no idea this would be the last time I would ever see the sun-shine & the music-fill-the-air just two-weeks apart between the Autzen & Shoreline runs… Which to this day, still remain two of my favorite places on Earth – neither, to ever’quite’ be the same without our beloved Grateful Dead!!! So, I guess at least to me… All of these fond memories 20-Years Ago! Is really what this amazing shirt represents.
