Scarce Just months Before Jerry Garcia’s Death. This is one of the Final Concerts ever Performed by Him the Las Vegas Concert May 19-21 1995 As you know he Died in August. Size is an Extra Large. Condition he’s some light blue ink stain reverse Back near bottom very light coffee stain on front side see photos they are super light so not sure if you see them light wear on the neck collar the label is a loss see photo and maybe some Rare Arizona Dirt on the Package from our warehouse But we don’t charge for it. For 1980’s Grateful Dead – and Presto! – just like that… Here we come 1990’s! And my oh my… Were the Grateful Dead on Fire!!! Period in the midst, and arguably the overall Best! The Boys had ever been… In the opinion of many Dead Fans. So, with the occasion at hand – Reonegro well-knew it was time to deliver a Huge! Image for the Band… And my goodness did he Deliver! In the fantastic form of the Grateful Dead ” 25th Anniversary ” Top Hat & Sunglasses… And keep in mind too – on the timeline here, for sure – as at this specific point in time… Reonegro had yet to even begin delivering his Amazingly-Artistic line of Backstage Passes for the Grateful Dead… As his 1st ” Puzzle Pass ” didn’t even debut until months later – on the Massive! Just check out the photos provided, my fellow Dead Fans and Rock & Roll Art Lovers – as this is one that Purely! Grateful Dead ” New Year’s ” Shirts of all-time… But I also consider it to be one of the overall Coolest!! ” Dead Shirts ” of all-time. I mean after all – this is an’ early’ G. Reonegro we are talking about here who started doing Shirt Designs for the Dead right around the 1988 Spring Tour… And, by the end of 1989 — This!!! Talk about a quickly Artistic learning curve – wow… Giving the Dead Fans what they want, and in pure Late-’80’s & Early-’90’s style & fashion! What makes this Shirt really-really neat, rare & highly-collectible in the Rock & Roll Vintage World – is that this is a design where Reonegro went with a ” Graffiti ” theme in the concept – making the world ” Grateful ” and the background design… Just look simply amazing to the Rock & Roll and Art eye — a Stunning! Effort by Antonio Reonegro here… Skeleton would later even make it on to some Grateful Dead Backstage Passes for the 1990 Summer & Fall Tours – but, the design form was different, without the Graffiti style… So, naturally – this was the 1st & the Debut! Sure makes this Fan miss his Oaktown Shows… And my Good Ol”80’s &’90’s Grateful Dead too – right smack-dab in Oaktown!!! Pit to Pit = 21″ Length = 27″ As this is a heavily used vintage-worn collectible rock shirt, here are the issues that stand out to my eye upon very close inspection : >>> three (3) small-medium sized holes; one (1) located on left front sleeve, and two (2) located on shirt back – near collar area (please see photos/photos #8 & #11). >>> stains and discoloration fading spots on shirt material fabric (please see photos/photos #9 & #10). Vintage-Original Grateful Dead Shirt made Show-specific! For the 1984-85 New Year’s Eve!! Run of Shows at the S. My Grateful Dead Shirt!!! ? !!! Now fellow fans out there, is this a serious! Should we just call it ” Shakedown Street “! ? !! Because all of those who are in the’ know’ – know exactly what went down during that Epic! ” Shakedown ” Show Opener on this Amazing New Year’s Eve Night… I love & live-for my’84-’85 G. And how incredibly special is this Shirt? Wedged right smack-dab in between!!! Three-Cheers for that Boss HM-2, right? But as we all well know – any piece of equipment can only take so much credit… So let’s give 90% of that credit to Jerry! This Era is pretty much a non-stop clinic on how to play a Guitar the right way – at least to my humble Dead Fans ears. Complete command, with insane-agility, passion & power. So much excitement is delivered in this era, and so many chances are taken… Just like Garcia once said himself – Louder is Better… It’s the’ Brent-Era’, and there is nothing quite-like-it. And the little-rough-around-the-edges is very welcomed – hey, it’s ok. When I’m at a Show, I’d rather see a Band lay it all out, than go through the motions in a security-blanket. This era takes some heat for the’ slop’, no doubt – and rightfully so, or so I suppose. But listen to the’ Right-Night’ when it’s an All Cylinders Go! – and it is On!!! So yes, this is my cry-out for more pro-releases from that Stellar’81 to’86 period — and of course,’89-’90 too! But, Thankfully – we’ve been treated pretty kindly there, as of late. Let’s just release 12/31/84 pro! Hmmm, how’s about 6/30/85!! ? ! Ok, I’m getting off track, just a hair… But, the point being – this is the’ Official’ GDP Grateful Dead ” 1984-85 New Years Eve ” Shirt we are talking about here – and to some it is just priceless. Authentic Grateful Dead New Year’s 1992 “Oakland Coliseum” w/ Reaper Art, Single-Stitch Tie-Dye Shirt Men’s Size Large. Shirt has artwork on the front & back. It’s in great condition with no visible imperfections, as shown in photos. The shirt is tie-dye, it’s 100% cotton, and the brand is Anvil. I acquired this shirt from a private collector who had stored it in a sealed container for many years. Since getting this shirt, I have also stored it in a sealed container. I have never washed this shirt. At most, this shirt was worn once, at the show it was bought from. All my shirts come from the same collection. Feel free to message me with questions.

Shirt designed by Tim Harris! – the Last-Ever ” Dead Shirt ” issued for the Massive! Twenty Years So Far!! Offered here is the Very-Rare! – Featuring an Amazing Art Design by Tim Harris aka. You know, think back now – this is the one that features both and Hour Glass, and a Winged-Father Time… In my opinion, one of the truly quintessential G. T-Shirt images of the Mid-1980’s! And as for ” Father-Time “? Well, we all know the story there – but not to sound like a Red Bull commercial… This one has Wings!! I mean how Grateful Deadie is that a word? – I don’t know… But I like this ring it gives. Looking into it, it appears he is generally depicted as an elderly bearded man – dressed in a robe (as we know) – usually carrying an Hour Glass (or other timekeeping device) and/or Scythe (both present in this image). But as for the Wings? ! Well, his image comes from a various mix of’ Historic! Sources coming from both ” Chronus ” (the Greek God of Time) – and – ” The Grim Reaper “. We won’t go there, but how Grateful Deadie – once again!! So, I suppose the ” Wings ” are derived from the ” Chronus ” side, as there is really no better way to’ fly’ into one year to the next… As time slowly or even quickly! Not to get too deep here. Fact is, as that calendar flips really any-year from 1966 to 1992… Is there any better way to spend it, than seeing the Grateful Dead! ? ! This is a ” New Year’s Eve ” G. Here fellow fans, no doubt about it. One of those top-shelf designs from the’80’s, and one that Mickey even choose to stage wear? My memory serves me correctly. It’s pretty good. And last, but definitely not least… Put this one in your cherished collection, in a frame… Or on your body! Father Time’s got Wings!!! This is a Brand New!
