Original RARE Grateful Dead Concert Shirt from the 70’s! No date but graphics would suggest 1977/1978 alligning with the release of Terrapin Station (Back album cover artwork). Worn in soft fabric with time given fading and some light pilling. Size tag has a tear. Front: Cyclops Skull and Roses with Feathered Bone. White base with Red 3/4 Length Sleeves and unfinished rounded hem. Pit to pit: 19.5 inches (flat lay). L ength from shoulder: 25/26 inches. These are all original Grateful Dead tour shirts, we bought the collection from somebody that worked in the band about ten years ago. Some of these iconic images have been reprinted over the years, but these were obtained directly at the shows. Most of the shirts remain unworn, but some of them are over 30 years old, so there are little flaws in some of them. The picture you see is the shirt you would be receiving, because these are one of a kind gems. I’m sure it would be nearly impossible to find any of these vintage shirts in this original condition. Since we have had them they been in safe storage, never been worn and only been taken out of storage to be photographed. New Year’s 1978 was the closing of W. An original vintage Woodstock tshirt from 1969. The original owner of this shirt received it from a “cool uncle” for Christmas in 1969. I’ve seen one other example of this shirt and the owner said he bought it at a pop festival in 1970. The graphic and shirt overall are in good shape. There are some holes and the graphic print has cracks. This shirt is probably better for framing than wearing. There is no tag, but the size is around a modern medium. Here it is a one of kind T-shirt. This is a vintage-original 1982 issued Grateful Dead shirt that features the nothing short of legendary! Dead Head artwork on the front of this shirt designed by Dennis Larkins, and Peter Barsotti in 1980! See the initials on bottom of front. This scene has both the NY skyline with the Brooklyn Bridge and San Fran skyline with the Golden Gate. The skeleton and roses with Uncle Sam is a Dead Icon. This is 2 sided shirt with a Rick Griffin design on the back. This design was used on the program for the show at Radio City Music Hall in 1980. I have not see a T-shirt with both on the same shirt. This shirt was bought at Norfolk Scope on Apr. Check the ticket in the pictures. Shirt measures 19 inches pit to pit and 28 inches collar to hem. I could not believe the fans love for this band.
