Art Design Style Very-Rare!! One of the Coolest-Designs! From this Mid-’90’s G. That barely Anyone – has Ever-Seen!!!!! Offered here is one of the Neatest, Rarest, and Coolest! GDM Grateful Dead Merchandising, Inc. Shirts manufactured in the Mid-90’s (1994, to be precise), just prior to Jerry Garcia’s untimely passing in 1995. In other words, there was really only 1-year for you to see this Shirt on the road – during Dead Tour… But I will never forget the very first time I saw it in Oakland – at the Coliseum!!! I mean you know, naturally… And that Classic Lot-Scene!! The guy I saw wearing this one, was actually moving some other Shirts, Trinkets & Stuff in the lot – and we quickly got into one of those… So, is the Shirt you are’ Wearing’ for sale, too?? ! You know, as that sometimes can serve as the ultimate T-Shirt Compliment! As it has to be ” For Sale ” first, right? I’ve seen it done! – in the’90’s!! And I think this guy was 100% serious? ! ? I declined, but in hindsight? I had to wear it to the Show! To do my Rock’n Roll & G. Civic Duty to deliver some Smiles!!! Well, that was the 1st time I saw this one, and then again in Eugene! – and the 1st one was on a’ White’ Tee (just like this one), and the 2nd one that I saw was on a’ Green’ Tee. Don’t get me wrong, but I think this design-itself’ explodes’ just a little bit better on the’ White’!!! As, can so often be the case. But as for this design? One where I can just let the photos do all of the talking, as this one – at least to my eye… Is the Real Deal!!! And part of that naturally… Couldn’t have been too many made of these… Just an instant Classic! – so, not sure why? Maybe it’s just that nobody wants to part with theirs! The Modern Graffiti-Art Paint Look on this design, and the way that it so Brightly & Boldly Shines! It’s almost like some Graffiti on the side of some cargo train on the track, but I guess what’s really cool – is that You! Are the Train wearing it… There is definitely a future-esque – maybe almost Alien? Thing going on with this design, but then again sometimes when I look at it – I don’t see it quite so much. The one thing that has me personally just a tad stumped, is the ” Tear “? Not sure of the significance, as this couldn’t be a ” Jerry ” thing, as this one was made in 1994 – so… I’m thinking it’s probably Environmentally related, as the Band was all over the Environmental ” Issues ” in this Mid-’90’s period, and especially the Rainforest! But they were always after some kind of collective-change, and that along with many reasons is why we love them! So, I’m thinking that’s the cause for the tear – and I’m doubtful it will’ dry’ until Humans stop consciously choosing to not put the Earth First! I don’t know, but this G.
