Titled ” Cosmic Cotton ” design next to the Shirt front logo, as this’ Official’ Tour Shirt Tie-Dye! Was manufactured by Grateful Dead Productions in 2001 (GDP, 2001)! Quite the design on this one! As I guess we could call it a ” Triple Jester “? ! But, much more then that, as he’s they… Quite like the Oakley-Style Wrap-Arounds that Bobby Weir himself was wearing at the 1994 Summer Shoreline run. Ahhh yes, the Passion, Beauty – & Fashion! Of the Early/Mid-1990’s!! Sure have some Big Hands! There’s a Jester-hatted Skull above, and even a few loose ones laying below. Striped-Pants too even, kinda like the ones Garcia used to sport in Mid-’69! Remember the Big Rock Pow Wow! ? The more I look into the fine design on this Shirt, the more I love it. What do you think – Court Jester meets Country Fair? ” So Many Roads ” below in ribbon… And on the back side – ” So Many Roads Summer Tour 2001 “! Hopefully you caught some dates on this neat run, but if you didn’t… Just a quick few words to fill you in on the details >>> Bob Weir was the overall organizer for this Tour, and he was the one who so eloquently & and appropriately! Decided to name it ” So Many Roads “!! No Phil on this one obviously, as he was deeply involved and active in Phil & Friends project(s) at the time. Plus, unlike the ” Furthur Festivals ” prior, there was no Mickey Hart or Bruce Hornsby. This run consisted of Ratdog aka. Bob Weir & Ratdog – Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe – and Rusted Root. This was a near 20-date Tour, with dates Back East (PA – NY – MD – NJ – VT) – Midwest (OH – IN – WI) – and West Coast (CO – WA – ID – CA) too! Prior to this Tour, Ratdog also played along with a handful 1/2 dozen? Dates with Phil & Friends! So yes, if you didn’t already – you are now starting to see the importance here of this one… Getting the Band back-together!! Keep your fingers crossed, and good things just might happen = Furthur! 2009 – 2010 – 2011 – 2012 – 2013 – 2014!!! Original Tour-Issued Tie-Dye from Summer Tour’01! – with some Grate! ” Historical-Importance ” as well – clocking in at close to 25-Years Ago! Here these days – and still in nice condition! Enjoy this one, and please – wear it out to a Show!! – as We are Everywhere!!! Tag Size / Brand : Extra Large (X-Large / XL) / Bay Island Sportswear (100% Cotton) – tag is torn, but still clearly reads ” XL ” – please see photos provided. Pit-to-Pit = 23″ Length = 28″ As this is a lightly used collectible shirt – here are the only issues that stand out to my eye upon very close inspection : >>> slight cracking of the design image emblems on shirt front – mostly on ” So Many Roads ” banner image (please see photos/close-up photos). Please see all photos provided…
