The Good Ol’ Grateful Dead at RFK Stadium – on July 10, 1973… Rock & Roll Throw-down – and one of Pure-Legend! With the Grateful Dead & The Allman Brothers Band!!! Rock & Roll inside Washington D. S classic RFK Stadium… Right on the tail-end of Rock’s ” Prime ” & Golden! I mean I’ve seen some Dead Shows at RFK in my time… 7/13/1989 – 7/12/1990 – 6/14/1991 – 6/20/1992 – 6/25/1993 – 6/26/1993… But, as most G. ” Purists ” would indeed agree – None! Some of mine were Real-Hot! Though, and let me be the first to tell you. I’ve sat close to Everywhere! In Good Ol’ RFK & mostly up on stage-front! – and, it’s just such an interesting & different Stadium’ shape’ when looking on up. And, acoustically – it’s obviously a Stadium, and sound can’ swirl’ a bit in certain corridors… But, can you even imagine the kind of sound that was swirling-away – on June 10th 1973!!! ? The Dead & Allman Bros. In one of their ” Many ” Prime-Eras! And, in actually – this was one of the earliest Shows of them up there on stage gun-slinging in a ” Stadium ” scenario… To the Crowd’s Delight!
