Vintage 1978 Grateful Dead Egypt Crew T-shirt. These were custom made, airbrushed shirts that were worn by the crew. Attached in the photos is a picture of longtime Dead roadie Steve Parish wearing one. Very very rare and uncommon Dead tee. Measures 17.5″ pit to pit and 29″ in length. 50% Cotton / 50% Polyester. Grateful Dead Vintage 1974 Film Crew T Shirt Mars Hotel Large BVD Super Rare

A vintage original Grateful Dead Mars Hotel Cinema Film Crew t-shirt, size large. Armpit to armpit: 20 inches. Shoulder to waist: 22 inches. Shoulder to shoulder: 18 inches. Neck: 6 1/2 inches across. These shirts were made in 1974 for the crew filming the Grateful Dead Movie (October 1974 Winterland concerts) following the release of the Mars Hotel album earlier that year. This shirt differs from other vintage Mars Hotel shirts by having the “Cinema”/camera on the back and a slightly different cover design than the album and other t-shirts from the era. Here the upside-down “Ugly Rumors” is on top, followed by “Grateful Dead” and “Mars Hotel” at the bottom of the artwork. The album cover has “Grateful Dead from the Mars Hotel” followed by the upside-down “Ugly Rumors” and the artwork. Shirt has been carefully hand-washed. See pics for details.
