As seen in the photos, this is simply a magnificent shirt – and indeed is a True-piece of Concert Shirt Art! Now well over 30-Years Old!! On the Shirt front the Statue of Liberty! Arises like Venus above the New York Skyline! She is draped in a Starry Cloak, while holding her Flame high and standing on a Red, White and Blue Lightning Bolt Orb! Her Cloak unravels and forms Wings with some of the Stars falling out the the Cloak onto the Sky Blue Tie-Dye background. There are two Red Roses underneath ” Grateful Dead ” which is written in the Colors of a fading Sunset against the backdrop of a Star filled Starry Night. All of this is set Beautifully! In the middle of a Blue & White Tie-Dye that is Wonderfully! On the Shirt back the ” Grateful Dead ” logo from the front is repeated in a larger size, while below it ” New York City ” is written in a funky script in Purple, Indigo and Blue with the September Tour dates listed in Black and finally the year ” 1988 ” – as what a Busy & Action-Packed Year!
