This’ Early”93 Summer Tour run by the Band took place in Vegas! On May 14th, 15th & 16th, 1993 (5/14/1993 – 5/15/1993 – 5/16/1993) at the Sam Boyd Silver Bowl – at UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada! And, if you were there – or, if you well-know your Grateful Dead Live-Music… Then you will already know that this was the Start! Of a Smokin’ 1993 Summer Tour where the Band got Hot! And then even Hotter!!! I mean just think ” Cal Expo’93 “!!! And even Shoreline’93! Too, right in between… ” Can you Hear My Supplication “!!! The Boys dusted off the Dusty-Dirt! On this Vegas run, and then things just Took-Off!! I mean this was the point where the hit & run thing with Bruce Hornsby 2 Keys Players? ! ? Was now finally past, and – Garcia himself had made yet another Triumphant! Return after scrapping the scheduled 1992 Fall Tour, simply due to some heavy duty burn-out & exhaustion. In May & June’93, and even in August’93 too… Grateful Dead Rock & Roll!!! I myself personally consider this period to be truly the Hottest! In the Post-Summer Tour’90 Era!! And, I mean naturally… As you just can’t beat any kind of Las Vegas Trip! – and, especially to the UNLV Silver Bowl!! And, in the case of the’90’s… It was a shot to not only Pull-the-Slots! But, it was also a chance to Boogie-Down! With your Finest of Friends at a Grateful Dead Show! Dang, this Shirt excites me just talking! As this was indeed a fine-time for the Dead – and then too, there is always the Vegas part!!! What Happens In Vegas, Stays In Vegas, right?? Well, at least that’s what they say today!
