Grateful Dead T-Shirt, closing of Winterland, New Year's Eve, Real Deal

A very cool T- Shirt commemorating a very historic event, the Grateful Dead shuttering the venerable, classic dance hall, Winterland Ballroom. As you can see by the line-up for the night, it was really something. I bought this shirt on the way out the door, at about 5:30am New Year’s Day 1979, after they had fed us all breakfast. Into the chilly, foggy morning we walked, still soaring from the experience. Shirt is labeled “Large”, but is is actually more like a medium. Measures 20 across from armpit to armpit, and 25′ from top of front color to bottom of shirt. Overall, very good condition, save the little snag visible in photo.
