Dancin’ Skeletons : 1995 Grateful Dead Merchandising, Inc. : White : Large (L) : Very-Rare!! Can’t get too much more Historic! – than this one right here… At Radio City Music Hall!! – on Fall Tour 1980!!!! Which yes, also included a 10/31/80 Dead Show right on Halloween!!! – as the Band delivered Eight (8)! Shows at Radio City between 10/22/80 & 10/31/80… With a run that ended in yep, you guessed it… ” Trick Or Treat ” style & fashion! This just wasn’t 2-Set Grateful Dead as you likely already well-know… As these Shows also included an’ Acoustic’ set prior! And, there’s a pretty funny story about this Legendary! Barsotti / Larkins design too – which, was also used for the Venue Poster! The Radio City Venue Promoters themselves weren’t too happy about how the Skeleton images – leaning on the building made the historic Radio City Music Hall look so’ decripit’ and run-down! ? ! So, they looked to actually’ pull’ the concert posters from sale! ? ! Hey, but after all… It is a Halloween run right? So, with that said. What’s wrong with a little ” Spooky “?? ! Well, with all that hindsight comedy aside… All the Credit in the World! To Peter Barsotti & Dennis Larkins on that front. This here is the 1995 Grateful Dead Merchandise GDM, Inc. Collectible Shirt issue which was delivered to Celebrate the ” 15th Anniversary ” of the’80 Radio City Dead Shows!!! — which also indeed ended up being the Last & Final Touring Year of the Grateful Dead.
