Offered here is an Ultra-Rare!!! 1982 Grateful Dead Tie-Dye Shirt made for the New Years Eve run of Shows at the beloved Oakland Auditorium Arena in Oakland, California!!! This Rare and Awesomely-designed Shirt likely falls into the almost’ Beyond-Rare’ Collector’s top echelon of Only One In Existence! Who’s to say, I suppose – but this one is not only a beauty in design-itself including the’ old-style’ Tie-Dye! , but in age as it is close to 45-Years old! Personally, I love this Shirt and really think that it encapsulates the true real! Vintage Early-Days of the parking-lot-scene Shirt creativity. I mean check-out the old-school Tie-Dye! You’ve got Mr. Skeleton dancing away – in true New Year’s Eve style… Just like on that floor, or in the breezeways at the Good Ol’ Oakland Auditorium! Later known as the Henry J. And at this point here… These were truly the’ later’ days of the Grateful Dead being able to play the Oakland Auditorium, with the last Show ever there – happening on the West Coast Spring leg, of the 1989 Tour! But luckily, the Jerry Garcia Band continued to grace the Kaiser – all the way through 1994! Just like the Skeleton couple here… As it doesn’t really ever get any better than a New Years Eve occasion! During the Uncle Bobo days… Just check out the Skeletons too, as Mr. Dancing Skeleton has his Top-Hat in toe! It’s all a Bundle of Red Roses!!! – with the Petals All A Fallin’!!! Right on the front-side… 82 Oakland Auditorium’83 printed nicely, with all of the Show Dates included below!!!!! December 26, 27, 28, 30 & 31, 1982… And soon to be’83! As the sands in that Good Ol’ Hour-Glass pass. Hey, if the have to pass – like they do anyways… Why not do it in California, with the Grateful Dead! And last but not least most-certainly not least! What a Tie-Dye Job!!! I mean this one looks like the’ Rit-Dye’ was bought right at the Safeway on College Avenue in Oakland or some other heavenly near-G. Place like that way back in’82, and the rubber-bands were strapped on in the parking-lot – naturally… And it was hand-dyed right in the back of a Late-60’s VW Micro-Bus! It’s the Good Ol’ fashioned & and the Original! ” Circular “-Pattern Style Tie-Dye Design! Gotta love this one… As it just Glows! In the true essence of G. Vintage, and even better yet… In New Years Eve Fashion!!! This one is indeed for you, Serious-Collector’s of Ultra-Rare!!! Grateful Dead Vintage items. This one is so sweet… That it needs to be Rocked! With a Shirt This-Cool – maybe even’ framed! -’82-’83 G. On New Years Eve!!! Tag Size/Brand : Large 42-44 (L) / (All Cotton / Made in USA) – Shirt tag has been cleanly-cut’ below’ size Large. As this is a lightly used, and very-well taken care of shirt (preserved in plastic for decades) – here are the only issues that stand out to my eye upon very close inspection. >>> 1/4 mark/stain on the back bottom seam of the shirt (please see photos). >>> some small stains (please see photos). >>> the shirt tag is partially severed on the bottom, as mentioned above – yet’Large’ is still fully-legible (please see photos).
