MEDIUM- Vintage Late 1980s Thin Grateful Dead Lot Tie Dye Jerry Face T-Shirt – RARE! A couple minor spots on this shirt with a hole or two in it (see pics). Shirt is in excellent condition for its age though! Tag says XL but it fits like a tight MEDIUM. Measurements were done based on the size charts in my pictures, so please view thoroughly. Sleeve length: 12.5. Shoulder seam to sleeve tip: 6.5 (extra info). The lot was full of cassette recordings, shirts, VHS tapes, CDs, Art, magazine clippings, flyers, posters, handbills and more! Since then, Ive worn it to multiple Dead shows and other concerts and festivals and everyone always has something nice to say about it. Grateful Dead Vintage Shirt Rare 1982 Fall Tour 2 Sided, 1980’s, Baseball sleeves, black. This very rare shirt (in phenomenal condition) from Grateful Dead Productions features. A pair of skeletons dancing in a mountainous landscape below the words Grateful Dead, written in a flowing, ribbon script. Clouds above and clouds below. Red roses, floating musical notes – and the DNA double helix! The colors of the printing remain as vivid and fresh as they were back in 1982 because the shirt has been rolled up and stashed in a dresser drawer since it was given to me back in 1982. It wasn’t my size, so it has never been worn in all these years. As a result the fabric and the colors are in fantastic shape! Be aware that even though the label states that it’s a Medium, even back in the’80s it seemed to be on the small side for a Medium. Check out the photo that includes a couple of measurements and you’ll see that armpit to armpit measures 17″ and the length of the shirt is about 27″. I haven’t included a shoulder measurement because the raglan sleeve construction makes it harder to determine just where the max. Width of the shoulder should be. I’d be happy to give it a shot though, if that would help with anybody’s decision-making. By the way, the hem of these shirts were left unfinished, as can be seen in the photos.
