Tour-Shirt for the’91 Spring Tour-Opening Shows! And quite possibly too – those from the Mid-Atlantic! Or maybe-even’ The MD’!!! Are very well familiar with This! 1991 Spring Tour Venue-Specific Tour Shirt for the Tour-Opening! At the Capital Centre – in Landover, Maryland!!! – 3/17/1991 – 3/18/1991 – 3/20/1991 & 3/21/1991!!!! As, it is indeed the Original! Issue & Version – that started them all! Patrick’s Day Shirts – with the same’ front’ design as this-one just think… Philly Spectrum 3/17/92 run! – and also Rosemont / Chicago 3/17/93 run! The Spectrum Spring’92 Shirt actually had a Stanley Mouse’ Jester’ design on the shirt back… And, the Spring’93 Chicago Shirt had a similar ” Smokin’ Leprechaun ” on the Shirt back. But, it is indeed This! 1991 Spring Tour 4-Show run at The Cap Center! – which spawned them all!! And, even more importantly… If you caught any of these Amazing! 91 Spring Tour Cap Centre! Shows from this Spring’91 run (3/17/91, 3/18/91, 3/20/91 & 3/21/91) – and you’ve been hunting for a Shirt! From this one for a long-long time. Well Fans, here indeed is THE!!! Shirt – made Venue-Specific for the whole darn run! And as for this Cap Centre run’ Musically’? ! ? Well where do I even start? ! As I was indeed Lucky! Enough kinda like this Smokin’ Leprechaun! Of these Cap Centre / Maryland Dead Shows – and… Of yes, the very-proud home of The Washington Capitals! Wow – as I mean the Band was Red-Hot!!! – and, like most all of this’91 Spring Tour… They were bringing the Heat! For the fired-up Dead Fans night in & night out – with some way-special! On the very 1st night – 3/17/91 on St. , which was also the’ Tour-Opening Night’! Of this East Coast’91 Spring Tour — Garcia & the Boys decided to deliver the very-first-even Reuben & Cherise! Played live by the Grateful Dead!!! And, let me tell you – if you weren’t there… It wasn’t quite the Explosion! Of the 3/14/90 Loose Lucy Show – but, it was still nice & up there. And then, a Red-Hot! Night #2 (3/18/91) delivered a Smoker! Of a Playin’ > Uncle John’s > Playin’! And Night #3 (3/20/91) delivered not only a Cookin’! Other One out of Space! But, it also brought back Might As Well! For the 1st time since 1988! And, last but not least – on 3/21/91… The Band opened Set II with a Killer! Victim > Scarlet > Fire… That then segued right into a Stir It Up Jam!!! Just thinking about all of these G. Moments of Live’ Maryland’ Magic! Makes them feel like just Yesterday! – but Hey Now!! ? – as this is now 35-Years-Ago!!! As time does fly for certain. I saw so many G. Shows & J. G. B. At the Good Ol’ Cap Centre, and the Band Always! Big-time – for the seriously Loyal! Hot-Bed of Dead Fans!! Saint Patrick’s Day Shirt for All-Four Shows!!!! – at the Capital Centre in Maryland! On the 1991 Spring Tour!!! As all I can say is that I hope You! Also got to see a piece of this action, if not the entire 4-Show run! Whether you well-know your Touring Grateful Dead Timeline and/or your Grateful Dead Tour Shirts better… The fact is – this one here? It’s pretty much like two Goliaths Colliding!! Not to be too far fetched, but how else can I put it? As This-Shirt has had Dead Fans Smiling with Grins! Ear-to-ear, for decades now… This Chilly-Cool Rock & Roll G. Is just about near-extinct. One look at the photos… And you’ll see why! This Shirt was actually one of three colorful, cartooney, and whole-hearted Grateful Dead Tour Shirt Masterpieces! Which Reonegro designed in 1989 alone… The ” Smokin’ Keyboard Skeleton ” (Summer Tour’89), the ” Bones Run Downhill Skiing Skeleton ” (Summer Tour’89), and last but most-definitely not least, as this-one here was actually the ” 1st ” of them all – for the Spring Tour’89. ” Frosty The Rock & Roll Guitar Skeleton-Snowman ” – in dire-need of a Miracle… Singing ” I Need A Miracle ” — as the’ Thawing’ begins nicely, as this Miracle! Was indeed answered with a little Grateful Dead’ Live’ Spring Tour’89 Rock & Roll Sunshine!!! What a Dead Shirt! – and really, one of the Best! From this so-creative Late-’80’s / Early-’90’s G. Take a nice-look at the photos… As the design details on this one, and just the pure-humor it radiates – is just something else? ! ? He’s Rockin’-away on the Electric-Guitar… Oops, I mean Electric-Broomstick! He’s got a Top Hat, with a Birdie perched on top… For a nose, Mirrored-Sunglasses for the Rays! I mean this-scene is down to one ball of Snow left, with even a few Buttons! And just check-out the Sunshine! Things are looking-up for Frosty here, and that is no joke… As just one glance at the’ back’ of this Shirt will tell you all the rest… Grateful Dead Spring Tour’89!!!!!! — and What A Tour!!! Reonegro landing a 10 out of 10! On this piece of Rock & Roll… Tag Size / Brand : Extra Large (X-Large / XL) – Shirt tag has been cleanly removed without any damage to the shirt material or seams – and the measurements correspond directly to a size Extra Large (XL) from this’ Prentiss’ shirt tag/brand from the Late-1980’s Grateful Dead Era. Pit-to-Pit = 22″ Length = 28″ As this is a used collectible shirt – here are the multiple issues that stand out to my eye upon very close inspection : >>> shirt was used as an “artist’s shirt” – used while painting, and has multiple/numerous’ paint stains’ all-throughout the entire shirt as a result (please see all-photos provided). >>> tag has been cleanly removed without any damage to the shirt material and/or shirt shirt seams (please see photos/photo #12). >>> two (2) small holes located directly on the shoulder/collar area(s) – one hole on each collar/seam side (please see photos/photo #10). >>> heavy staining (assorted/multiple stain marks & paint stain spots/marks) all-throughout the entire shirt (please see all photos provided). >>> fading of the design emblem images, mostly on the back side of shirt (please see all photos provided). Yeah, like – no kidding… The Spring 1990 Boxes well demonstrate the High-Energy! Of this Very-Fine Tour! It’s one of those that is honestly worth tracking down the whole thing! – which, the G. So-Thankfully made easy for you… With the Spring 1990 & Spring 1990 TOO Box Sets!! Let’s just put it this-way… As’ So-Far’ it’s Europe’72 & Spring’90! That have gotten the major Call-Of-Duty! Release-wise – and Both!! So-well deserving of it. Music, and so little time! ? ! And especially in this Wild! Digital-era – and ” Wild ” to say the least. As far as Dead Shirts! ” go in this’ Modern Era’ – I like many, feel that this Wes Lang Designed Spring 1990 ” Skeleton Scythe!! Art Designed Shirt is real-tough to top! And, I mean really – why even bother trying? As this is Wes Lang! That we are talking about here!! Grateful Dead Skeleton Scythe (Spring 1990) Grateful Dead!
