This is a true vintage Grateful Dead concert t-shirt from 1986 featuring the surfing skeleton designed by Rick Griffin and released by Grateful Dead Productions (GDP). 1986 was the first year we saw the surfing skeleton design. The t-shirt brand is Screen Stars, which is also a collectible brand in concert shirts for its durability and comfort. This is a well loved vintage t-shirt that shows basic wear from the years but the graphic is in amazing condition and shows no cracking. There is a stain on the top of one shoulder across the seam and wear on the shirt label (see photos). Underarm to underarm = 20. Across middle = 20. Top to bottom = 26. Sleeve length = 7.
