Tour-Shirt for the’91 Spring Tour-Opening Shows! And quite possibly too – those from the Mid-Atlantic! Or maybe-even’ The MD’!!! Are very well familiar with This! 1991 Spring Tour Venue-Specific Tour Shirt for the Tour-Opening! At the Capital Centre – in Landover, Maryland!!! – 3/17/1991 – 3/18/1991 – 3/20/1991 & 3/21/1991!!!! As, it is indeed the Original! Issue & Version – that started them all! Patrick’s Day Shirts – with the same’ front’ design as this-one just think… Philly Spectrum 3/17/92 run! – and also Rosemont / Chicago 3/17/93 run! The Spectrum Spring’92 Shirt actually had a Stanley Mouse’ Jester’ design on the shirt back… And, the Spring’93 Chicago Shirt had a similar ” Smokin’ Leprechaun ” on the Shirt back. But, it is indeed This! 1991 Spring Tour 4-Show run at The Cap Center! – which spawned them all!! And, even more importantly… If you caught any of these Amazing! 91 Spring Tour Cap Centre! Shows from this Spring’91 run (3/17/91, 3/18/91, 3/20/91 & 3/21/91) – and you’ve been hunting for a Shirt! From this one for a long-long time. Well Fans, here indeed is THE!!! Shirt – made Venue-Specific for the whole darn run! And as for this Cap Centre run’ Musically’? ! ? Well where do I even start? ! As I was indeed Lucky! Enough kinda like this Smokin’ Leprechaun! Of these Cap Centre / Maryland Dead Shows – and… Of yes, the very-proud home of The Washington Capitals! Wow – as I mean the Band was Red-Hot!!! – and, like most all of this’91 Spring Tour… They were bringing the Heat! For the fired-up Dead Fans night in & night out – with some way-special! On the very 1st night – 3/17/91 on St. , which was also the’ Tour-Opening Night’! Of this East Coast’91 Spring Tour — Garcia & the Boys decided to deliver the very-first-even Reuben & Cherise! Played live by the Grateful Dead!!! And, let me tell you – if you weren’t there… It wasn’t quite the Explosion! Of the 3/14/90 Loose Lucy Show – but, it was still nice & up there. And then, a Red-Hot! Night #2 (3/18/91) delivered a Smoker! Of a Playin’ > Uncle John’s > Playin’! And Night #3 (3/20/91) delivered not only a Cookin’! Other One out of Space! But, it also brought back Might As Well! For the 1st time since 1988! And, last but not least – on 3/21/91… The Band opened Set II with a Killer! Victim > Scarlet > Fire… That then segued right into a Stir It Up Jam!!! Just thinking about all of these G. Moments of Live’ Maryland’ Magic! Makes them feel like just Yesterday! – but Hey Now!! ? – as this is now close to 35-Years-Ago!!! As time does fly for certain. I saw so many G. Shows & J. G. B. At the Dead Fan Friendly! And Sports and Rock & Roll Legendary!! — with a Completely-Amazing! Philly Friendly Liberty Bell Your Face! Dead Shirts from the’90’s!! And, most-likely too – those from the Good Ol’ Mid-Atlantic! — who naturally so-proudly called the Old Philly Spectrum their Rock & Roll ” Home Turf “!!! Well, if perhaps you’ve never seen this one… This is a Very-Rare! 1994 Grateful Dead Fall Tour 50 Shows at the Spectrum! Made’ Venue-Specific’ for this’94 Fall Tour Dead Show run – to very-rightfully Celebrate this Monumental! Occasion with & for the Band! And the Dead Fans!! Shirt was made to celebrate the Grateful Dead’s ” 50th Show ” right on October 7th, 1994 (10/7/1994), the last Show of this 3-Show run at the Fantastic & Historic ” Spectrum ” in Philadelphia, PA!!! And, after this 3-Show Philly run – there was actually only one more G. Tour stop at the Spectrum ever… On the 1995 Spring Tour, for three more Last & Final Shows. Doing the math here, on my fingers Ha! – that makes Fifty-Three (53) all time Grateful Dead Shows at the Spectrum… Dating all the way back until 1968 (12/6/1968)! Years for the Good Ol’ Grateful Dead at the Good Ol’ creaky building — and hey, it probably wasn’t even anywhere near’ creaky’ yet when the Dead 1st played there!! Impressive run, only outmatched by a few other Venues – that I can think of… Hmmm, maybe the Oakland Coliseum? Carousel / Fillmore West?? As those are some serious names of Dead Venues there – just about giving me chills even thinking about these! Wow, but in Philly… The Band just Always! Seemed to raise the bar, play-hard, meet & or even exceed the expectations of the die-hard Philly Deadheads!! And, as we all know… Expectations can be rightfully pretty-high! This Shirt is an incredibly-special Grateful Dead vintage collectible, for certain…. Clocking in at 30-Years-Old! As Time sure does Fly! — when, you’re Havin’ Fun!! Not to mention the overall Excellence & Importance! Of this serious-accomplishment in the overall Rock’n Roll World! Even 50 ” Stars ” in a ring around this Liberty Bell Steal Your Face!!!
