Rare Vintage 1990 Grateful Dead Golden Gate Bay Bridges Black T-shirt Men’s XL

This vintage 1990 Grateful Dead collectible Deadhead black t-shirt features orange, teal blue, purple and yellow colors. There is a Golden Gate and Bay Area bridges under night sky with stars and two skeletons sitting back to back graphic on both front and back of this shirt. Men’s size extra large, BUT this shirt seems shorter than the usual XL length. MEASUREMENTS Length: 26″ from shoulder seam to hem Shoulder: 23″ from shoulder seam to shoulder seam Sleeve: 7.5″ from shoulder seam to sleeve hem Chest: 24″ from armpit to armpit; label states 46-48 Bottom: 24 across 100% cotton. This previously owned, washed and hardly worn t-shirt has a little fading but the colors are still vibrant. There are no labels, but the shirt measures like a men’s extra large, except the length seems a bit SHORTER than the usual XL. Vintage Grateful Dead “New Years Eve’91-’92” concert/tour t-shirt. Size Extra Large (XL); tag has been removed. Tye dye green, purple & white in color with a huge image of 5 dancing skeletons with balloons playing instruments on the front. Says Grateful Dead in huge purple letters below that. On the back of the shirt is a similar image of 5 dancing skeletons. Says “Oakland Coliseum 9192″ & below that in huge purple letters New Years Eve. Marked 1992 GDM Inc. To Brockum on the bottom of the front & back image. Shirt has been worn a handful of times. Still in Very Good condition for its age; very minor cracking to parts of images. No rips, stains, holes, etc. Top to Bottom: 28 inches. Pit to Pit: 22 1/2 inches. Check out my other items. Grateful Dead Shirt : 1994 : Space Astronaut Dancing Bears! :’94 Grateful Dead Merchandising, Inc. / The Mountain GDM, Inc. / Mountain : Tie Dye : Black : X Large (XL) : Very-Rare! For the Die-Hard Grateful Dead’ Dancin’ Bears’! I’m not even sure to start with this’94 Vintage-Beauty – as you really can’t out-do the Photos! Themselves, on this one. This is a completely Amazing! Shirt made by The Mountain, under license by Grateful Dead Merchandising, Inc.. and at least to my eyes? It’s one of the most joyous, totally funniest, and really – the best! And of course too, as you’re probably suspecting, maybe? Made in’94, this was the no-holds barred era for G. Tee’s, and there was some serious-demand – for newer, cooler, better & the best! New/neat designs — usually built to illicit a Smile!!! And this one, oh my… As it does Just-That! I think it’s pretty safe to say that this one is most definitely one for the “Dancin’ Bear” contingency, or… One for the Space! I can hardly look at this Fantastic Tee without Smiling, and Grinnin’-Good – as I kinda think it would be impossible to not?? ! Well, here’s my try – to equal the photos good luck, right? … >>> Three Dancing Bear Space Astronauts, with Space Helmets! … Looking something like 2001 A Space Odyssey! … The only thing is, look what their Space Shuttles of choice are?? Or, like I used to always liked to note on my G. Man, I sure think either Billy or Mickey should have rocked this one – back in the G. Touring days, or heck – even now! … Dancing Bears in Space! Riding on Congo Drums!! ? ! ? !!! And of course, Stars, more Stars, even a “Steal Your Face” Earth! … And of course “Grateful Dead” all-surrounding!!! Here indeed is one of those times where it is most-definitely safe to say… They just don’t make’em like This! And probably important to note to too… Just check out this two-tone Dye! It’s really rad, as it almost looks like a smokey-Space! Scene background – pretty perfect, right? Is’Like New’, and is truly as close to brand new as a shirt can get. We are talking washed once, twice max here… Maybe the best one around in this condition. And just in sweet condition. Or of course, inside that next Drumz-Circle that you might attend. This is a Lightly Barely!! Used Vintage-Collectible clothing item in Excellent!! Pit-to-Pit = 25″ Length = 32″ Issues : None. And What a Tie-Dye too! As it looks to me like Everybody’s Dancin’ in a Ring Around the. There is still a Colorful Rainbow! – the Bright-White Stars are out! – and, a Skirt, High-Heels & Rose Garland wearing Ms. Skeleton – along with a Top Hat wearing Mr. Skeleton are getting down for some serious Dancin’ In The Grate! As this is a special G. Shirt for certain, and is just about as visually eye-catching as any Dead Shirt can get! This is an official G. 1990 issue, was one of the Coolest! Tee’s back then – over 25-Years ago! … Just as Cool & Stylish! … The true-sign of a Fantastic! Rock & Roll Shirt. I don’t now about you, my fellow Fans… This one definitely takes me back! – to that Wonderful!! Back-in-the-day Dead Tour time of that Magical! One of their best periods, when it seemed that Everything! Was Rollin’ smoothly on All-Systems-Go!! The Band was playing so incredibly-hot during this period, that I even remember some real-funny stories about numerous old-time Dead Heads (from like the pre-’74 & pre-’79 eras) coming out of the deep-woodwork to see the Band Play!!! Totally hilarious when you think about it… But, it really does prove a real important point. The Good Ol’ Late-’80’s/Early’90’s Grateful Dead were taking it upon themselves to personally-deliver the Goods! … Just such a high-quality live product, that so many Fans from Grateful Dead yesteryear had to show-up and see that was up? ! Tons of hype again! All of a sudden… The Band was completely-on! Was the Music actually Playing the Band?? ! Pretty classic, and the Boys were on a Roll!!! Just go ahead & throw in any! Of those 1989 Videos that are available… And’see it’ for yourself – if you weren’t there at the time. Worth the while of any! View From The Vault I (7/8/1990 Pittsburgh)– View From The Vault II (with 7/12/1990 RFK) – Crimson, White & Indigo (7/7/1989) – Downhill From Here (1989 Summer Tour at Alpine Valley).
