For your consideration is this in excellent used condition, vintage 1993 Grateful Dead tour tshirt. This shirt is from the Madison Square Garden run in September of 1993. These were excellent shows for this year! September 16-18, and 20-22, the 22nd is probably my favorite of the run. The help/slip/frank opener is cookin’! Ill attach a link below, to a streaming soundboard. The shirt is a beautiful tie dyed Liquid Blue brand original tour tshirt. With awesome graphics by artist David Opie, and a very cool New York City Dead badge in the shape of a SYF on the front left chest area. The front graphics have a King Kong theme going on, with an Owsley bear climbing the Empire State Building, holding the “bertha” skeleton. Though according to Dennis Larkins, who is one of the artists, that did both the Radio City Music Hall, and Warfield posters, from 1980 says, her name is Samantha, as the male skeleton is always referred to as Sam. The back graphics are also very cool, with the two skeletons (Sam and Samantha), one wearing a wreath of roses, “Dancing in the Streets”, as the banner says across the top. Above that, are the’93 MSG run dates! Just a super cool GD tour shirt! It is an XL, and measures as such, being 23 1/2 inches across the chest and 32 inches in length. In the 7th photo you can see me pointing at the only two spots i could find. They show up very well with my camera, but in person, you have to really look, and being a tie dye, with amazing graphics, there is already so much to see, that i barely noticed the spots. Look at them in size compared to my finger tips, believe me, its barely anything, and i highly doubt anyone would ever notice, but its there. This would be the ultimate tshirt for the two upcoming Dead & Company shows in Saratoga Springs, and Flushing, New York! One of thee coolest GD tour shirts!
