I’m assuming that it’s a way-safe bet to say that this here Beauty! Of a Fall’94 G. It brings back some serious Memories!!! Historic Venues alone is just about enough to drop the jaw of any serious Grateful Dead Fan… I mean this one here makes me just about want to get up & Dance! And, forget the just-about part! We’re talking Fall Tour in the East!!! Nice & Cold, and the Leaves a ” Fall-in “!!! Plus too, this means that it’s just about Trick or Treat time too! Just right around the corner… What a Time of Year! Back in the day, you could just step-into that Basketball / Hockey Rink Venue on G. And Ooooh That Smell! Just like Skynyrd said! But, we won’t go there! That musty – but still Fresh! Smell of Fall Dead Tour!!!!! Three cheers for Incense, and Patchouli too – right? The Cap Centre was my main Childhood stompin’ ground when it came to the seeing the Boys, and I still! Can’t get used to that’ US Air Arena’ thing! Well, then again – there was no such a thing as US Air Arena when I was Shakin’ my Shoes right next to the Beltway… But, that’s just One! Hot Spots that were are talkin’ about here on this Magnificent! Run – because in Fall’94… The Band hit just about hit them All!!!! >>> The Cap Centre! In addition to the Boston Garden! – the Philly Spectrum! – and of course… Also, a Very-Special Shirt, in that it was one of the very few Shirts designed to represent only the ” 1994 Grateful Dead Fall Tour “! It was designed just for this Tour, along with just a few others – some tie-dyes, and some not… Like this Black Rock & Roll Beauty! A 1994 GDM design by Steve Roth! And, as you can well imagine from the photos provided – this was the Hot! One from this Tour… And was/is/and forever will be – an Instant G. It offers Beautiful & Bright Colors, with a rare & unique design… That is just Beyond-Amazing!!! A Halloween-like Skeleton Face inside a Falling Fall Leaf! – with of course, a Red Rose too!! With ” Grateful Dead ” in a way-cool font! , ” 1994 Fall Tour “, and with All! 94 Fall Tour Dates & Cities! Printed vividly on the Back! I mean is this one a Quintessential! Grateful Dead Tour Shirt, or what? ! ? From of course too… The Last & Final! ” Fall Tour ” ever played! By the Good Ol’ Grateful Dead!!! Including the last G. At the Boston Garden – The Capital Centre! At the Madison Square Garden – in New York City!!! It Might Be Six O’Clock, It Might Be Eight… It Don’t Matter If It’s Getting Late! We’re Gonna Let The Band!!! Play One More Song – Get In The Groove If It Takes All Night Long!!!! My fellow Dead Fans! This is a Lightly Used Vintage Original Collectible-clothing item from 1994 in overall Excellent! Tag Size/Brand : Large (L) / Hanes Beefy Tee 100% Preshrunk Cotton / Made In U. Pit-to-Pit = 22″ Length = 30″. As this is a lightly used vintage-collectible clothing item, here are the issues that stand out to my eye upon very close inspection. >>> a few faint dark stains areas/spots on the front (bottom) area of the shirt – which are fairly hard to see, with this being a Black Tee (please see photos/close-up photos). >>> some very-slight cracking on some areas of the design images (hardly any) – mostly, on the thin-line’font’ areas (please see photos/close-up photos). >>> slightest fading of the shirt material – hardly any (please see photos/close-up photos). Grateful Dead Shirt : Vintage Original (Genuin / Authentic) : 1989 : Rainforest Panther!!! – Gone In Our Lifetime? : John’ Mikio’ Kennedy Art Design!’89 Grateful Dead Merchandising, Inc. Late-’80’s Era Grateful Dead Shirt!!! Designed 1989 GDM Rainforest Panther – Gone In Our Lifetime? Offered here is indeed one of the Quintessential! ” for a cause ” Shirts made for the Grateful Dead!! In fact, this shirt could possibly be considered ” The ” main cause shirt of the 1990’s — with this shirt design 1st entering the Grateful Dead universe in 1989. It is indeed a ” Mikio ” (John Mikio Kennedy) art design – famous for numerous! Shirts all throughout the 1980’s, dating back to’80 – and maybe even prior? One thing is for certain – you indeed know a ” Mikio ” when you see one. I don’t know who out there caught the 1991 Giants stadium Shows? But if you did… You were not only part of some seriously quality Live Grateful Dead at those Shows, but you also might have seen yourself on T. As live-segments from these two shows were used in a Nationally Broadcast ” Rainforest Special ” which included some heavy duty Dead! Eyes of the World – Saint of Circumstance, etc.. And this broadcast (which aired after the Shows), also included some serious (yet, still totally hilarious) interview footage with the Band! Point being, this was a cause that the band was extremely serious about helping, and spreading awareness among Dead Fans, and beyond however they could. And obviously, through the Rex Foundation. With the Cal Expo dates on the backside, instead. So, this one here is indeed the 1st generation ” Vintage-Original “, and it is even the Long-Sleeved version too… Which you obviously hardly-ever! See anymore here today – well over 35-Years! Tag Size / Brand : Large (L) / Anvil 100% Cotton Pre-Shrunk / Made in U. Pit-to-Pit = 22″ Length = 29″. As this is a used vintage clothing item – here are the issues that stand out to my eye upon very close inspection : >>> 1/4″ hole on shirt front (10″ from bottom / 4″ from right side); 2mm hole on shirt front (2″ from bottom / 2″ from left side); 1mm hole under left arm seam (2″ from shoulder seam) – please see photos. >>> some small stains and discoloration throughout shirt (please see photos). >>> some light discoloration under the arm areas (please see photos). >>> slight cracking of design image emblems (please see photos).
