What a Great 1992 Summer Tour all through & through, in fact. I did 10 straight dates on this’92 Summer Tour, and would have to say that this 6/25 Show here in Chi-Town was without any question at all… One of the Very-Best!! Chicago’s very own James Cotton – and even Steve Miller too! Delivering the Chicago-Blues sound, right alongside of the Good Ol’ Grateful Dead!!! This led to Smokin’-Hot versions of Good Morning Little School Girl!! I saw the Charlotte > RFK > Star Lake > Chicago!! > Deer Creek > & Buckeye Lake Shows! – and I’m pretty certain that this Shirt design was the only! ” Venue-Specific ” Shirt done for this whole Tour run? ! ? Well, I can only speak for the 10 Shows I saw, and the lots & venues that I traveled through Blissfully! But, there definitely wasn’t a Venue-Specific Shirt designed for RFK, and really… That was the only other’ Stadium’ date that I saw – maybe at Giants? I never have seen it. And, usually in this Early-’90’s G. Era – it was only the ” Big-Capacity ” Shows & Show-Runs that a’ Special’ Venue Shirt was designed for. And, luckily for Chicago, for Soldier Field the Proud! Home of the Monsters of the Midway… For the all the lucky Deadheads! Chris Pinkerton design was born & delivered!
