Yes, this is the original 1986 Summer Tour – Griffin Surfing Skeleton! It took me a long time to find this one. The single sided Dead Surfing Skeleton is more common, but I prefer this 2-Sided design. As far as rarity – you could only get this in the summer of 1986. Condition is phenomenal with just a couple pinholes neat collar on front (pictured – very small). The white is not dingy either with no pit stains. Single stitch and clearly dated. No tag, but this might have been considered a large back in the day. See measurements because this is like a Men’s small or Woman’s medium today… The mannequin in pics is a medium woman. Measurements below – Grab it, because these never come up for sale… Not the originals – only one on the bay. One of the best and most well known Dead designs. Pit to Pit: 18. It changed some during the 1990’s when fashion and trend went “Oversized”. In short – PLEASE MEASURE!!!! It’s the safest and only accurate way to shop CLOTHING online. Measurements are taken with the item laid on a flat surface. So please consider this. If your measurements are similar to the ones provided, perfect!
