You may never see one of these anywhere else, ever again. Artist is Jack Rajca, this was also featured on posters advertising the 1987 Telluride Show. Measures 22″ Pit to Pit & 29.5″ Back Collar to Bottom. Condition is Excellent with No rips, tears or stains. I’ve had this shirt for ever, was reluctant to wash it but recently did an oxyclean soak & wash, came out vibrantly white and super clean, amazing condition, flawless. I’m gonna give ya’ one lassst chance to surrrrenda — or elsse, I’m gonnna blowww or Smoke! Just a little classic tried & true Yosemite Sam lingo for you with a little improv… But, you’ve got your-own too, I’m quite sure of. “Yosemite Sam” Vintage-Original Cartoon lot Shirt from the Glorious! Grateful Dead’92 Summer Tour! Heck, I saw most of the Shows the Band played during the 1992 Touring-year… Or, at least it felt that way – as I distinctly remember feelin’ a little Road-Worn! A number of times… As I saw 10-Shows alone on this here’92 Summer Tour! And, this I know for certain… This Shirt really-really was the’Talk’ of Tour! I mean come on… Just look at the Back! Yosemite Same is Rockin’ Nine “Spleefs” right on his Person!!! He’s hold’en two of them’double-barrel’ style, has another locked tightly in his jaw… And, just for good-measure – an additional Six! Held firmly in his Ammo-belt!!! I mean he’s almost got more Hooters than I saw Shows on this Summer Tour!!! I mean you had better Look-Out Buggs Bunny – or else he might just Stone’Ya! Maybe he’ll take it easy on Buggs, and will instead let him play a tune or too… On that’Other One’ — the TM! Wow, I just Knew! That I was gonna get carried away a little when even attempting to describe this one’professionally’! Is that even possible? ! … Take a look quick! — as Sam’s Eyes are pretty darn Red!! Better get that Visine! Better be careful with that too though, I suppose… As afterall – this is Dead Tour’92!!! That we are talking about here. Just look at all of these Dancin’ Bears Smilin’! – with even a couple of them being Electric!!! “Dead Tour 92″ on the top of the Shirt… With “92” even getting Rocked in a Wreath-of-Roses!!! And, for the front of this Shirt… Shrine-like emblem design, and a couple more Dancin’ Bears down below! Such a Crazy-cool’Color-pattern’ on the shirt material too, as the photos provided can nicely show you! Basically & in a nut shell… This is one of the Raddest! Tour’Lot’ Shirts of all-time, and too… It would be pretty tough as well to find another Shirt that is any “Funnier”!!!!! Those’92 Summer “Star Lake” Shows were so far up in PA, that it almost felt like we drove into WVA? ! ? It was all-good, because I remember chattin’ & laughin’ about this one all the way from RFK!!! Heck, this was one that you even had to keep in the trunk, instead of on your body while driving the road on Dead Tour! Just in case you got pulled over, and Mr. Police Officer asked you to step out of the car for driving too fast… One quick’turn-around’ by you – and he would be dealing with a one-on-one’Showdown’… And then, You! Might promptly be missing your’Shakedown’ Show-Opener!!! I guess it is good that the Boys only played it on the beginning of Tour – at the Giants Show!!! So — what do You! Say my fellow Dead Fans… Is this Dead Shirt design – a 10 out of 10? That’s a real tall order & all — but I definitely think so! Gotta love this Rock & Roll Treasure….. Grateful Dead Shirt : 1990 : Twenty Five Years! – ” 25th Anniversary Tour “!!!’90 Grateful Dead Merchandising, Inc. : Tie Dye : Black : X Large (XL) : ULTRA-RARE!!!!! – No Emblem Printed on Shirt Front!! 1-Sided (Printed) version of the Classic! Grateful Dead 1990 Twenty Five Years Tour!!!!! – Never Seen Another! Fans & T-Shirt Collectors & Enthusiasts out there….. Version of the 1990 “25 Years Dead” Classic!! ? ! Well, think back now – because the “25 Years Crest/Emblem” is Always!!! Included on the front side of this dye — well, not “always” or so it appears – as this shirt had the a design-image on the back side only, and as a result – the tie-dye pattern itself looks totally awesome!! There is “No-Design” printed on the front side of this shirt!!! I’m not quite certain if this was done on purpose by GDM or not?? All I know is it is the only “one (1) sided” version of this amazing shirt that I have ever seen since 1990!!! ? ! And that includes Plenty!! of days roaming the insides of venues, the lots, the roadways between shows – I mean you name it!! See what I mean… This one is Ultra-Rare!! And the fact that it is already one of the coolest G. GDM shirts of all-time, makes it even better. I mean come on – Summer 1990!! ? !! Huge Grateful Dead on that glorious Summer run. If my assumption is correct, then this beauty of a G. Tie-dye is almost like a “error card” in Baseball Card Trading, or something of that nature. The only difference is… This shirt looks incredible! With or without a’design’ on the front side. All personal preference, I suppose. But the fact is, we are likely talking Ultra, Ultra-Rare here. You are Looking at a 100% authentic hand signed Shirt as pictured and described as above.. The shirt is a size Medium… The original owner won the T-Shirt, a copy of the single “Touch of Grey” with “My Brother Esau” on side two, and 2 front row tickets to their concert at Compton Terrace in Chandler, Arizona on August 18, 1987 from 93.3 KDKB, a local Phoenix, Arizona Radio Station. He wrote the winning limerick for the Morning Show DJ’s Cindy Wine and Shelly Dunn. There once was a radio station Whose ratings had gone on vacation They needed some thrills So they hired two girls And now they’re the best in the nation Of course they loved it and he won the tickets, shirt and record. He put the package in a paper bag and it has been sitting in my closet since then. Unfortunately, the tickets were up against the shirt where Brent Mydland signed it and the ink on the ticket reacted with the marker and it ran. He since put the tickets in a baggy but the damage was done. The single “Touch of Grey” is unopened, still in its original plastic wrapper… Good luck to all. The free listing tool.
