Shirt here, which definitely says-it-all was the Official Tour Shirt of the 2009 Tour by ” The Dead “. For Bobby – Billy – Phil – & Mick! And, I myself was also fortunate enough to catch this Tour at the Incredible Gorge Amphitheatre – in George, WA! Could arguably be considered the Coolest! Venue on this’09 Dead Tour. As I can’t recall off the top of my head if they had tour stops at either Red Rocks? – or, The Greek?? Likely Red Rocks – but, I’d have to go hunting to see. And, this here Steal Your Face! Dead Tour Shirt – in White! – was clearly The! Just a tried & true G. Bright & Sunny on that Whole! Day – with the Allman Bros. Band also Rocking this Show… And even the Doobie Brothers too – who were also… Warren Haynes played the Axe for both The Dead & The Allmans on this run – and though I much preferred him with the Allmans… I most definitely tip my cap for some serious Rock & Roll stamina! This Show was something-else, for certain – and who even knew that all of us die-hard Dead Fan Faithful would be so-kindly treated to the ” Furthur ” Era later on in 2009. I couldn’t get enough of that Band… I mean talk about re-creating & even actually at times building! On that one-of-a-kind G. Because as we all were once taught at one time or another in our lives… ” No-one can’t do it quite-like The Grateful Dead “!!! Historic Venues alone is just about enough to drop the jaw of any serious Grateful Dead Fan… I mean this one here makes me just about want to get up & Dance! And, forget the just-about part! We’re talking Fall Tour in the East!!! Nice & Cold, and the Leaves a ” Fall-in “!!! Plus too, this means that it’s just about Trick or Treat time too! Just right around the corner… What a Time of Year! Back in the day, you could just step-into that Basketball / Hockey Rink Venue on G. And Ooooh That Smell! Just like Skynyrd said! But, we won’t go there! That musty – but still Fresh! Smell of Fall Dead Tour!!!!! Three cheers for Incense, and Patchouli too – right? The Cap Centre was my main Childhood stompin’ ground when it came to the seeing the Boys, and I still! Can’t get used to that’ US Air Arena’ thing! Well, then again – there was no such a thing as US Air Arena when I was Shakin’ my Shoes right next to the Beltway… But, that’s just One! Hot Spots that were are talkin’ about here on this Magnificent! Run – because in Fall’94… The Band hit just about hit them All!!!! >>> The Cap Centre! In addition to the Boston Garden! – the Philly Spectrum! – and of course… Also, a Very-Special Shirt, in that it was one of the very few Shirts designed to represent only the ” 1994 Grateful Dead Fall Tour “! It was designed just for this Tour, along with just a few others – some tie-dyes, and some not… Like this Black Rock & Roll Beauty! A 1994 GDM design by Steve Roth! And, as you can well imagine from the photos provided – this was the Hot! One from this Tour… And was/is/and forever will be – an Instant G. It offers Beautiful & Bright Colors, with a rare & unique design… That is just Beyond-Amazing!!! A Halloween-like Skeleton Face inside a Falling Fall Leaf! – with of course, a Red Rose too!! With ” Grateful Dead ” in a way-cool font! , ” 1994 Fall Tour “, and with All! 94 Fall Tour Dates & Cities! Printed vividly on the Back! I mean is this one a Quintessential! (GDP) Issue made for only Grateful Dead’86 Tour Staff! Who dig both the Rare! As offered here is an Incredibly-Rare! Grateful Dead 1986 Staff-Only! Collared Polo Style Shirt which was Tour-Issued by Grateful Dead Productions, Inc. (GDP) just for G. Staff, Road Crew, Family & Friends! And, unlike a traditional Road Crew Shirt – this one was indeed made in the Mid-’80’s Preppy-Style! And while granted Healy was most certainly Rockin’! A possibly (or, most likely)’ Sleeveless’ T-Shirt in the Stage Front Soundboard Nice! This-one was actually Fancy! Enough that someone the likes of Popick could just Rock! It from right-on the Stage! – while dialing-up that electronic Dead-Magic! For the Boys Rigs & Monitors. And now, come to even think about it… Himself would even’ occasionally’ wear a Sports coat! And, by at least’89… Jerry was even seen Rockin’! A’ Black’ one, naturally… And so, point being… Maybe the Boys were even getting a little’ Pretty’ in Look! In the Mid/Late’80’s just right after the time of This! Collared Polo-Style Dead Shirt! I mean – Let’s See! ? ! On the Collared-Shirt’ Stats’ Ha! Usually Polo in Red, or Pink! Yep,’ occasional’ – but still – check! Yep,’ real-occasional’ – but still – check! Yep’ pretty-occasional’ though – but check! Vince – later on in the’90’s yep – check! And as for Mick?? Dang, as now That’s! As I truly can’t say with any certainly that I’ Ever’ saw Mickey Hart wear a ” Collared-Shirt ” On-Stage? ! ? Huh, well – I’ll sure have to keep my Eyes open on that-one… You betcha there were some Collared-Shirts! In the’80’s &’90’s Dead-Era. There were times too – where me & my Touring Crew might just Rock! A Collared-Shirt ” On The Road ” to hopefully’ Reduce’ the chances of… By the Interstate Heat!! And this Shirt would have been just Perfect! For that – well, then again… Maybe’ Minus’ the bold & bright’ Steal Your Face! But, you know – with all’ seriousness’ here… Staff ” Collared/Polo Shirt ” is one that you could truly Rock! – The Golf Course!
