Of The Grateful Dead!!! Well, if your were there – then, there’s a pretty good chance that you might have seen one of these! Arguably ” The ” Lot Shirt from the’95 Summer Tour! If you’re actually keeping tabs, and handing out points for creativity – and stuff like that. How exactly can you beat this? !! Jerry Garcia as a Knight in Shining Armor – riding in proudly on a Skeleton Horse!!!!! Dang, as I distinctly remember how I felt – the 1st time I saw this one on Tour. And here I-was thinking that all the Super! Creative lot shirt ideas had already been used… Jerry as a Knight!!! Hey, I mean after all… He is the King of Rock & Roll – at least in my book. Plus, aren’t Mick Jagger & Paul McCartney already’ Knights’?? Just because Garcia didn’t live in England — no reason at all to not Knight Jerry! And, what really makes this Shirt even cooler… Is that it’s for 1995! – the Last/Final Dead Tour!! And, if you’re are one of those out there that really-knows your Vintage Dead Tees hopefully so! – then, you will also know that a similar-version of this Shirt circulated the 1994 Tour – but, if my mind serves me correctly… The colors on the’ front’ design were in Rainbow-Colors? ! And, it didn’t look quite as this’95 version – with the straight-up Black! In true Garcia style!! And, if you dig the front design on this Tee which, I’m sure you do… Then check-out the back! Of the 1995 Summer Tour dates are present on this one – both East Coast / Midwest & West Coast too! The Bright Colors & Design of this piece of Art are just Spectacular! — in the form of a Rose!!! Plus, I love the font – so classic… & so Early / Mid-’90’s too! As, these were indeed the days that most people still didn’t even have a Computer! Or, if they did… It didn’t work too cool – and, was anything-but user friendly! So, when I see a killer graphic like this… I just like to give props! I’m not certain who exactly designed this one, but… I’ll give them a Gold Star! – or, maybe even better yet… ” The ” 1995 Grateful Dead Tour… Tag Size / Brand : Extra Large (X-Large / XL) / Hanes Beefy Tee 100% Cotton / Made in U. Pit-to-Pit = 24″ Length = 30″ As this is a used vintage collectible shirt – here are the issues that stand out to my eye upon very close inspection : >>> small light stains on the shirt – located mainly on shirt front bottom (please see photos #9, #10, #11). >>> one (1) black dye bleed mark approx. 1/4 on shirt front – located below the’o’ in’Tour’ (please see photo #5). >>> stray faint reddish dye on shirt back – located just above the’ul’ in’Grateful’ (please see photo #8). >>> light cracking of design image emblems (please see photos/close-up photos). >>> fading of design emblem images, mostly on shirt front (please see photos/close-up photos). Shirt here, which definitely says-it-all was the Official Tour Shirt of the 2009 Tour by ” The Dead “. For Bobby – Billy – Phil – & Mick! And, I myself was also fortunate enough to catch this Tour at the Incredible Gorge Amphitheatre – in George, WA! Could arguably be considered the Coolest! Venue on this’09 Dead Tour. As I can’t recall off the top of my head if they had tour stops at either Red Rocks? – or, The Greek?? Likely Red Rocks – but, I’d have to go hunting to see. And, this here Steal Your Face! Dead Tour Shirt – in White! – was clearly The! Just a tried & true G. Bright & Sunny on that Whole! Day – with the Allman Bros. Band also Rocking this Show… And even the Doobie Brothers too – who were also… Warren Haynes played the Axe for both The Dead & The Allmans on this run – and though I much preferred him with the Allmans… I most definitely tip my cap for some serious Rock & Roll stamina! This Show was something-else, for certain – and who even knew that all of us die-hard Dead Fan Faithful would be so-kindly treated to the ” Furthur ” Era later on in 2009. I couldn’t get enough of that Band… I mean talk about re-creating & even actually at times building! On that one-of-a-kind G. Because as we all were once taught at one time or another in our lives… ” No-one can’t do it quite-like The Grateful Dead “!!!
