Summers coming and this would be perfect T-shirt for those hot summer days. I don’t remember what show I got this at, but it was sometime in the 90s. I have about 100 grateful Dead T-shirts this is the first one I’m putting online. All of them just as in all my T-shirts I picked up at the show. My earliest Grateful Dead shirt it’s from 1972. My first show was 69 or 70 I really can’t remember. I was lucky enough to have seen the dead some 350+ shows so you can imagine two little hard To keep up onWhich was what. The 2nd to last Garcia Band run for me, with my last & final being at the Kaiser. So, the deal on this Shirt is that it was obviously a super Popular! Image back in the day, and it was one that Fans cherished! In 1988, and in 1989 on the J. Fall Tour on the East Coast! This was indeed one of the very-few Garcia Shirts that were available as a Tour Shirt! This one here over a Quarter-of-a-Century! ? ! Later has indeed stood the test of time, as far as the best of the best Jerry Garcia Shirts go… And, if you are a straight & to the point type of Fan who treasures the Classic! Rock & Roll look… Well, then this one is tough to beat indeed. In fact, I would personally go as far as saying that this Garcia Shirt is definitely one of the coolest ever. Grateful Dead’ On The Road’ Springtime! Starring Dancin’ Bears & a Terrapin Goin’ To The Grateful Dead Shows!!! – with a Skeleton towing ” Grateful Dead ” on a Bi-Plane Up in the Skies Above!!!!! What does that mean for You! Well, for this here Fan — let’s see… As that meant 3-Shows in Atlanta at The Omni! – and 2-Shows at the Cap Centre… Nice, as that just made me think of that Cap Centre Dark Star!!! So, how about You? ! Do you remember this one? I bet you do… As this was definitely one of the Dyes! As I can remember very-easily more than just a few of these tattered! Bright, Sunny, Cool, and just about everything-else that meant “Spring Tour” with the Dead! – back in the day. One of Opie’s neatest Grateful Dead Shirts indeed. I just really dig the subject-matter here myself, on this piece of art. And, their fancy VW drop-top got them all the way to the Show! At which point, they can all just hang-out in the Lot! … A little bit of furry & hard-shelled’Playin’ In The Band’!!!!! Wow, I’ll tell you though… I hope they all had Tickets! – because I can well-remember how tough those Omni Tickets were! But hey, you never know… As maybe that Skeleton Rockin’ the Bi-Plane might kick down a few Miracles! From up above in the Sky!!!
