Historic Venues alone is just about enough to drop the jaw of any serious Grateful Dead Fan… I mean this one here makes me just about want to get up & Dance! And, forget the just-about part! We’re talking Fall Tour in the East!!! Nice & Cold, and the Leaves a ” Fall-in “!!! Plus too, this means that it’s just about Trick or Treat time too! Just right around the corner… What a Time of Year! Back in the day, you could just step-into that Basketball / Hockey Rink Venue on G. And Ooooh That Smell! Just like Skynyrd said! But, we won’t go there! That musty – but still Fresh! Smell of Fall Dead Tour!!!!! Three cheers for Incense, and Patchouli too – right? The Cap Centre was my main Childhood stompin’ ground when it came to the seeing the Boys, and I still! Can’t get used to that’ US Air Arena’ thing! Well, then again – there was no such a thing as US Air Arena when I was Shakin’ my Shoes right next to the Beltway… But, that’s just One! Hot Spots that were are talkin’ about here on this Magnificent! Run – because in Fall’94… The Band hit just about hit them All!!!! >>> The Cap Centre! In addition to the Boston Garden! – the Philly Spectrum! – and of course… Also, a Very-Special Shirt, in that it was one of the very few Shirts designed to represent only the ” 1994 Grateful Dead Fall Tour “! It was designed just for this Tour, along with just a few others – some tie-dyes, and some not… Like this Black Rock & Roll Beauty! A 1994 GDM design by Steve Roth! And, as you can well imagine from the photos provided – this was the Hot! One from this Tour… And was/is/and forever will be – an Instant G. It offers Beautiful & Bright Colors, with a rare & unique design… That is just Beyond-Amazing!!! A Halloween-like Skeleton Face inside a Falling Fall Leaf! – with of course, a Red Rose too!! This is a Lightly Used Vintage Original Collectible-clothing item from 1994 in overall Excellent! Tag Size/Brand : Large (L) / Hanes Beefy Tee 100% Preshrunk Cotton / Made In U. Pit-to-Pit = 22″ Length = 30″. Grateful Dead Shirt : Vintage Original (Genuine / Authentic) : 1984 :’ Steal Your Face! Grateful Dead Productions, Inc. Grateful Dead’84 Vintage Shirt! Logo – with a Bright-Red Shoulder Panel!! — An Early / Mid’80’s G. & Rock’n Roll!! Should I just let the photos do the talking on this one, or should I speak on its behalf? Hough, I do openly admit obviously… That it is tough to out-do the photos of this G. Well, beauty is always in the eye of the beholder – indeed… But, at least to my eye? & for what that’s worth… This here 1984 G. Shirt is simply a Grateful Dead Treasure to behold! Quite frankly, I believe this here T-Shirt to be one of the Hottest!!! Tee’s of all-time. Holy Red & White – Blue Suede Shoes! ? ! Well, it’s safe to say that they Just Don’t Quite Make’em Like’ This! – or, to these’ Quality’ standards either! This thing is just Built To Last! ? ! But wait just a minute… As that Album was like 5-Years away when this Amazing! Tee 1st hit the scene. And, to think that this one was just a little-baby! During that Red-Hot MCVA run that kicked-off the’84 Spring Tour!! I mean all I can really think here is that this just Has! To be one of the finest Grateful Dead Shirts of all-time – issued by GDP! And, to put it so bluntly… It’s one of the Hottest!!!!! Let me put it this way – whomever is the way-lucky one that will be wearing this one to a Show if you even dare, that is… Well, you had just better just be ready – because Fans are going to want their Photos! And that’s no joke! Plus, this shirt even has a little extra G. Luck attached to it. I wore it once! To a Show over another Shirt! And ran right into Mountain Girl! Well, as for the details on this one – please do let the photos do the talking, as I’ve provided as many as possible… And, I think it’s also important to take a close look at the close-ups – to really see the Quality! Of which this one is manufactured. Nice & thick Cotton/Poly Blend (50/50) – the stitching on the shoulder & sleeve areas are done with some serious attention to detail, and care, etc.. take an especially close look at the Stripes! And, by looking close – you can also see any issues that this shirt has, and… There aren’t too many – Real Nice Shape! The main issue I suppose? – is that the shirt is affected by some light spray-paint haze… Some on the design image (see the speckling), the shoulders, sleeves & body. And, other than that? There is some’ pilling’ of the fabric, common in this type of shirt-fabric the heavier-kind! , and there are a few assorted stains here & there. And, in my opinion – basically Nothing! That takes away from snapping this one in a Frame! Or, you could also just snap-it on You! I like it, I like it… The true fact of the matter is that this one really should be sitting in a Museum! The Rock’n Roll Hall of Fame!! Because at least to this guy, that’s what’84 Grateful Dead does to my ears… With some Tone-Heavy Boss-Distortion – courtesy of The Boss Himself!!! Grateful Dead Shirt : Vintage Original (Genuine / Authentic) : 1994 : Outer Space!! -‘ Graffiti Paint’ Art Style! 1994 Grateful Dead Merchandise, Inc. Grateful Dead’ Steal Your Face! Art Design Style Very-Rare!! One of the Coolest-Designs! From this Mid-’90’s G. That barely Anyone – has Ever-Seen!!!!! Offered here is one of the Neatest, Rarest, and Coolest! GDM Grateful Dead Merchandising, Inc. Shirts manufactured in the Mid-90’s (1994, to be precise), just prior to Jerry Garcia’s untimely passing in 1995. In other words, there was really only 1-year for you to see this Shirt on the road – during Dead Tour… But I will never forget the very first time I saw it in Oakland – at the Coliseum!!! I mean you know, naturally… And that Classic Lot-Scene!! The guy I saw wearing this one, was actually moving some other Shirts, Trinkets & Stuff in the lot – and we quickly got into one of those… So, is the Shirt you are’ Wearing’ for sale, too?? ! You know, as that sometimes can serve as the ultimate T-Shirt Compliment! As it has to be ” For Sale ” first, right? I’ve seen it done! – in the’90’s!! And I think this guy was 100% serious? ! ? I declined, but in hindsight? I had to wear it to the Show! To do my Rock’n Roll & G. Civic Duty to deliver some Smiles!!! Well, that was the 1st time I saw this one, and then again in Eugene! – and the 1st one was on a’ White’ Tee (just like this one), and the 2nd one that I saw was on a’ Green’ Tee. Don’t get me wrong, but I think this design-itself’ explodes’ just a little bit better on the’ White’!!! As, can so often be the case. But as for this design? One where I can just let the photos do all of the talking, as this one – at least to my eye… Is the Real Deal!!! And part of that naturally… Couldn’t have been too many made of these… Just an instant Classic! – so, not sure why? Maybe it’s just that nobody wants to part with theirs! The Modern Graffiti-Art Paint Look on this design, and the way that it so Brightly & Boldly Shines! It’s almost like some Graffiti on the side of some cargo train on the track, but I guess what’s really cool – is that You! Are the Train wearing it… There is definitely a future-esque – maybe almost Alien? Thing going on with this design, but then again sometimes when I look at it – I don’t see it quite so much. The one thing that has me personally just a tad stumped, is the ” Tear “? Not sure of the significance, as this couldn’t be a ” Jerry ” thing, as this one was made in 1994 – so… I’m thinking it’s probably Environmentally related, as the Band was all over the Environmental ” Issues ” in this Mid-’90’s period, and especially the Rainforest! But they were always after some kind of collective-change, and that along with many reasons is why we love them! So, I’m thinking that’s the cause for the tear – and I’m doubtful it will’ dry’ until Humans stop consciously choosing to not put the Earth First! I don’t know, but this G. Shirt here, which definitely says-it-all was the Official Tour Shirt of the 2009 Tour by ” The Dead “. For Bobby – Billy – Phil – & Mick! And, I myself was also fortunate enough to catch this Tour at the Incredible Gorge Amphitheatre – in George, WA! Could arguably be considered the Coolest! Venue on this’09 Dead Tour. As I can’t recall off the top of my head if they had tour stops at either Red Rocks? – or, The Greek?? Likely Red Rocks – but, I’d have to go hunting to see. And, this here Steal Your Face! Dead Tour Shirt – in White! – was clearly The! Just a tried & true G. Bright & Sunny on that Whole! Day – with the Allman Bros. Band also Rocking this Show… And even the Doobie Brothers too – who were also… Warren Haynes played the Axe for both The Dead & The Allmans on this run – and though I much preferred him with the Allmans… I most definitely tip my cap for some serious Rock & Roll stamina! This Show was something-else, for certain – and who even knew that all of us die-hard Dead Fan Faithful would be so-kindly treated to the ” Furthur ” Era later on in 2009. I couldn’t get enough of that Band… I mean talk about re-creating & even actually at times building! On that one-of-a-kind G. Because as we all were once taught at one time or another in our lives… ” No-one can’t do it quite-like The Grateful Dead “!!!
